i sure could use your help to get my pro 197 up and running i live in cumberland country tenn about 50 miles west of knoxville tn

Are you able to use this on a system that has a multi-site simulcast, or does it break-up like the Radio Shack PRO-96? I can easily decode a single tower P25 system, but one in the county with 10 antenna sites causes the PRO-96 scanner to burp, buzz, and drop-out in the middle of conversations with the P25 CQPSK system. Any luck with this system? Thanks

Is there any way you could show how to program the frequencies, especially the P25 freqs. I downloaded WIN500 and still can't figure it out. A great video showing how to use WIN500 would be excellent.

Can you tell me what the frequencies are for Surprise and El-MiragePD I can't seem to hear them, and I live in Surprise.

I have this scanner its awesome. Hey if you use win500 for your scanner on the computer and you use the remote server let me know because Im having problems with the remote server sound and maybe you might know the problem. Thanks

Wow you must be pretty close to some of the west valley simulcast sites, reception sounds great on simulcast E and G. Sounds great. I'll send you a PM with info on how to listen to my 197 in the East valley.
