Kamran Akmal isn't doing anything correct as of late but I rate this innings of his + Shoaib Akhtar staying with him at the wicket as his greatest innings so far in his career. At 49/6 I don't think anybody would have gave Pakistan a chance but Akmal's century helped us win this Test Match.

@RohRohToday Where did you see me commenting on his skills? I wont deny that he is a good batsman and a very good wicketkeeper. World Cup wins however, come and go...great achievement anyways. PK side was weakened, played MUCH less cricket than indian side and still reached semi's. So all in all, it is what is is.

Kamran Akmal isn't doing anything correct as of late but I rate this innings of his + Shoaib Akhtar staying with him at the wicket as his greatest innings so far in his career. At 49/6 I don't think anybody would have gave Pakistan a chance but Akmal's century helped us win this Test Match.

I am an indian but thought this innnings was a classic. Not just crucial but was also very pleasing on the eye. Technically correct and won the game for pakistan after a tremendous start by Irfan pathan. This test was all Kamran's ! Hats off !

It is my humble opinion that great knocks or great bowling efforts should be appreciated wherever they come from - it doesn't matter if it comes from a pakistani, an indian or a zimbabwean. It shouldn;t matter that it came against your home team as well. As an Indian cricket fan - I wanted Kamran's wicket every second. As a cricket fan - that knock was a phenomenal one (and kamran has not gotten his recognition for that super knock IMO)
