doubt all you want but it was, the reason so many cars were out was from engine failures. And the finish took place right in the middle of green flag fuel stops so only about 10 cars had enough to last till the end

@Steventhe2nd it was caution free, as was the 1997 Winston 500.. run 500 miles without a caution and you'll get a good amount of guys with mechanical failure. The two caution free Talladega races were my favorite restrictor plate races ever!

no you actually have to have a lot of talent because controlling a car going at 190mph the whole time is not easy and at Daytona is harder because that track is bumpy and at Talladega the track is so wide so you have to know how to block
