I was a little confused as to why you had to set up a "sub" audio effects rack for the reverb. Couldn't you have just asigned the utility gain, compression etc to the the same midi knob as the reverb dry/wet?
Hi Vespers, thanks very much for this tutorial, I've learned loads from this and many of your other videos. One thing though, I can't get this rack to work, it seems to have been done on a more recent version of Ableton than I've got, what version(s) is it compatible with?
@grenadezeroone Sorry guys, you'll have to be patient. Getting some tech issues sorted out. The new site is live and much better, just getting all the links working again. Cheers!
can't get the rack off your website...being reconstructed i guess?? is it posted anywhere else or can you send it via e-mail??? i really dig your stuff by the way..big ups
I went through the whole tutorial, and I learned so much. Thank you for providing these HQ vids, subscribed and cant wait to hear more from you DJ Vespers.
An awesome tutorial dude and a propa quality rack with endless creative possibilities, thanks for the share :) it's going to get rinsed in my tracks,,, hours of fun!!
I thought Live was intended exclusively for live use (as its name would imply...) but I can see it's a great DAW for studio experimenting. It's definitely light years ahead of Logic, so I think I'm making the switch.
@philmygoods No worries mate. Glad you're diggin the rack. I've been in the studio last couple weekends building MOAR racks or audio mangling mayhem. Will release them soon. Cheers! Keep glitchin.
i use ableton 6..about to buy ableton 8...Do i need ableton 8 to use this preset..? it tells me when i use ableton 6 "cannot load preset..may be broken."
This is a rack made in Live 8 so I expect that it may not be compatible with earlier versions of Live. You will prolly need Live 8 mate. Worth grabbing it anyways. Awesome program.

@spacealder Yeah, I used to think the same thing. I switched over from Cubase when Live went to version 5. Never looked back!

@spacealder I came from Logic and Live has always been light years ahead in creative music production and Live performance.
