@Goreblender no carbohydroM actually works in the punk rock genre, you dont really know what metal is if you think this is metal, metal is rock with less feel to it, like how rock songs have harmony and the lyrics actually seem awesome, where as metal the lyrics are just trash and the music is just epic guitar/drum/bass performance although lyrics to metal songs CAN be good

Metal songs most certainly have harmony. Even the shittiest high school metal bands still make heavy use of minor third riffing and tritones.

Don't bother trying to pidgeonhole entire genres into categories of good and bad. You can't seriously make the statement that "metal lyrics suck." I'm in a metal band that has lyrics about providing due process of law for zombies, or Jesus blessing people with laser vision.
