Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think a lot of wrestling fans in Japan like KENTA because of his FIREY PERSONALITY(~!) and the way the he DEMANDS RESPECT(~!) and REFUSES TO BACK DOWN(~!) no matter who he's facing.
That and the fact that it's pro-wrestling and NOT REAL, of course. ;)
thanks to youtube, kenta has surpassed chris benoit as my favorite active wrestler. this match was really good but it doesnt compare to kenta v marufuji. that might be the best match i ever seen.
Seriously one of the best matches I've seen, and a perfect example of near flawless wrestling. Not a single second is wasted, and I love how not a minute goes by without at least 3 of the 4 wrestlers being involved in some way, what with the partners constantly running interference for their legal man. The pinnacle of tag team wrestling.
You just don't survive Sugiura. But at least the champs looked good losing!
