@The51stAgent 1. This is quite obviously propaganda, and is blown way out of proportion.
2. It was war time, so Americans would generally "diss the lifestyle" of Nazis, when they weren't busy killing and being killed by them.
3. This is not meant to depict the entire National Socialist philosophy, but was instead created to depict Nazi Germany. As with many autocratic regimes, it was generally oppressive, nationalist, and industry driven. This is an extreme, but is not far off.
I looked up this video after reading a comment about it by Robert M. Price, ch15 " Joining the Sect " of his excellent book " The reason driven life" which is his response to Rick Warrens " The purpose driven life ". Price links the Furher's face song to his paragraph, " Born-again Superrace "where he criticizes Warrens idea that only a select minority might go to heaven. Price thinks everyone would go to heaven if there was a good god & heaven . By the grace of god not by works or beliefs
I wish Disney would do a parody cartoon with Donald Duck with Osama Bin Laden. It's too bad our world has morals now and such a cartoon could be considered offensive.
if hitler was a dictator in 2011, disney would now lick his boot for power and money, fucking new disney shit :p i want these kind of cartoons, not fucking miley cyrus.
am i the only one that thought it was kinda funny? yeah, yeah, i know the nazi thing is bad but it was just funny in its normal donald duck ways. hes such a tard even if he is a fascist. lol
this makes me SICK!! what kind of dirtbags make these so called "childrens shows"...but it just goes to show how loyal the Nazis were to Hitler. you see how far that get them. UGH!!
@ShinjiKoon yes, I know. im taking a holocaust and genocides course at my school, but still most of the propaganda was directed towards the children because Hitler believed the children were to be the ones to keep the nazi party going! that’s why he created youth groups like Hitlerjuden, jungvolk, jungmadel and so on...almost everything hitler did was for the children to keep the nazi party in office, whether they liked it or not...they were forced...BRAINWASHED.
@paigejeanandemilyann I realize that, but was it really the same for the US? this is USA propoganda, i dont think it was as extreme... but i dont really know
@ShinjiKoon:i think the film is showing the extremes of what Hitler was doing...although we(the US) assisted in the holocaust-research monowitz...one of the many subcamps of auschwits-i think the US was trying to cover up the wrong they committed with helping Hitler almost exceed his disire for all jews, gypsies, homosexuals, and so on to be exterminated, and dont forget-we(the US)did the same thing to the japanese-maybe not to such extremes as Hitler had gone, buts its all the same in the end.
@ShinjiKoon:and have you ever heard of anglo-saxonism? the US abidded by it during world war one...now, anglo-saxonism and nazism are similar, but they are not particularly the same...
@ShinjiKoon :anglo-saxonism was practiced in many places all over the world...and still is! anglo-saxonism is the belief that ones culture is superior beyond all others.
I think it is nice that you can joke about something this horrible. And let it go already this happened MANY years ago, stop living in the past or it will eat you.
Seriousely? Just for laughing? What kind of dumb-ass teacher was that? This is clearly made to be funny. Maybe the teacher meant to show you 'Education For Death' and got confused because they are both made by Disney.
This was Disney before it got dumbed down to what it is today. Every scene is full of satire. It makes fun of the Führer-Kult with Swastikas and Führerpictures everywhere (swastika shaped picket fence, windmill, trees, wallpaper...), the overblown confidence in military strength, while the people live in poverty, as shown by Donald saving the single coffee bean. The irony of promising your people freedom while enslaving them.
It is educational and still funny. This was real art.
In the times of WW2, they needed much help of the citizens for the war effort, I just went over this in History AP, and this was to encourage the soldiers to support the war and US. They were targeting the citizens and the soldiers, these are just like political cartoons, except this is a video.
Disney was paid to make Anti-Nazi propaganda cartoons, something I just recently learned in my US history class, my teacher even showed this cartoon, I found it hilarious, poor Donald.

Fun fact about Hitler:
He loved marching band tune, esp. the band halftime shows at American games and his rallies were designed for the same effect.
He also had a sweet tooth, ate chocolate after every meal, and even mixed spoonfuls of sugar into red wine. Bastard.

Es una estrategia militar, para moralizar a las tropas Norteameriacanas en la guerra.
Al mismo tiempo sirve como estrategia de dominio social, les muestra de que lado están los ciudadanos Norteamericanos.
