There were a couple things that went through my mind when I was becoming more open to the idea of God:
1) If something is True, it doesn't matter what we WANT to believe and
2) If God told a faithful person to jump through a fire, they would. Because they knew that God would take care of them. I thought that was incredible. And that was the example I always used.
I almost cried when he told the story about the fire, 07:25. God is real.
Jesus, there is no denying it. No other Name can we call on to recieve The Grace and Mercy of God. He is the perfector of all things. He is all powerful, and when we trust him we experience a Joy unceasing. Happiness and sadness are only temporary. Blessed are those who mourn for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth. In all things trust in God. There is no way to the Father, but through the Son! The Way, The Truth and The Life:) JESUS!!!!!!

Lately, I have been so frustrated. My husband and I have been trying for a baby for the past 2 years, and it hasn't happened. We have been praying, and we have had so many other people pray too. I have been so focussed on what IS NOT, rather than WHAT IS. I am now so thankful that I am healthy, whole and have a fantastic, loving husband. You know what? A woman told me that she had a 16wk ultrasound, and the baby was found to malformed. She asked my advice as regards aborting it, but I told her "look at Nick". In disability, God hides ability, when we search for it, we would discover it.
About a year ago, I was able to watch one of nick's videos through my friend's wall in facebook and during that time, I was so down because I couldn't feel the closeness that I felt before with God. After watching the video, I felt hopeful that I can be close to Him once again by just seeking Him. I wish that I can be like Nick, you know, spreading God's Word.

lol @ all of you delusional Christians thumbing me down. I've no problem with you believing in God, I'm not even saying God doesn't exist, I'm simply saying that it's Nick's mentality that got him where he was. I think, God can be anything. He has many dimensions. You decide what perspective you are looking through, it doesn't matter. What matters is faith and love for him. His whole reason for being optimistic is God. Leave it out the "finish strong" thing is good, but not great. If there is no God, everyone else would be better off without him, because he takes up time they could be spending on themselves. But we KNOW there is something more than pleasure because there is a God who has a purpose for us.
To me what you are saying tells me that people who believe in god are kinder and better people and people who don't believe in god wouldn't take anything from it. I watched that several times because he's unique and makes you realize you do have the strength to get up and carry on. I didn't hear anything related to god in that little clip and it was amazing. I'm fairly atheist I'd say but not full out. Lately, I have been so frustrated. My husband and I have been trying for a baby for the past 2 years, and it hasn't happened. We have been praying, and we have had so many other people pray too. I have been so focussed on what IS NOT, rather than WHAT IS. I am now so thankful that I am healthy, whole and have a fantastic, loving husband. I know that God will bless us with a child, but when that happens will be up to Him. Thank you so much for posting these videos.

You know what? A woman told me that she had a 16wk ultrasound, and the baby was found to malformed. She asked my advice as regards aborting it, but I told her "look at Nick". In disability, God hides ability, when we search for it, we would discover it.

About a year ago, I was able to watch one of nick's videos through my friend's wall in facebook and during that time, I was so down because I couldn't feel the closeness that I felt before with God. After watching the video, I felt hopeful that I can be close to Him once again by just seeking Him. I wish that I can be like Nick, you know, spreading God's Word.

lol @ all of you delusional Christians thumbing me down. I've no problem with you believing in God, I'm not even saying God doesn't exist, I'm simply saying that it's Nick's mentality that got him where he was. The belief in an omnipotent being might have helped give him the leverage to control his emotions and overcome the victim mindset but that doesn't devalidate the fact that he did it all himself.

being very honest I've been feeling so down since ages and now listenning to Nick, I feel how stupid I was. I doubted if Nature(that's what I call God) really wants to help me.If s/he is mad at me and so on.but now it feels like no nature can not forget and never forget any of his/her child! cause we have a "creator and creation" relationship with nature.I feel more hopeful now than I used to do just an hour ago!! You can feel God as an entity which is always with you no matter you believe him or not. You can name whatever you want. But just be with him.....

Hi. I don't nail myself down to a religion either. I nail myself down to a relationship with Jesus Christ, because he was nailed down to a cross over 2,000 years ago for my sin today. Even if I was the only person to be created and to sin, he still would love me enough to do it.
As CHRISTmas is coming up, look to the history of the occasion and see what the true story is. Jesus Christ was born into a world of sin for people like me, like you, who have no ticket to heaven without Him. Trust JESUS

Take the video for what it is, take Nick's message for God on what it is, but please quit the useless babbling on the comments. i love this guys spirit and optimism and everything about him. but the religous bit is full of crap. watch george carlin and then try to tell me there is a god. He's maybe used "god" as a tool to learn how to overcome his problems and i fully admire him, he's a real inspiration to millions, but it'd be so much better with out the religious bit. the finish strong was wat i saw first and i can't agree with that more. no religion in that little clip and a huge message.

His whole reason for being optimistic is God. Leave it out the "finish strong" thing is good, but not great. If there is no God, everyone else would be better off without him, because he takes up time they could be spending on themselves. But we KNOW there is something more than pleasure because there is a God who has a purpose for us.

To me what you are saying tells me that people who believe in god are kinder and better people and people who don't believe in god wouldn't take anything from it. I would listen to him if it wasn't about god. I'm not a god believer and I watched all 4 parts because I think the guy is doing a good thing but god doesn't have to be a part of his speech. People that aren't religious aren't selfish. Religious people can be selfish too. If you believe in god then why are u judging non believers?

isn't it frowned upon to judge others? I took a lot from his falling down bit and finishing strong. I watched that several times because he's unique and makes you realize you do have the strength to get up and carry on. I didn't hear anything related to god in that little clip and it was amazing. He says a lot of things in this that i disagree with because religion to me paints a picture that covers up reality and people buy in to it so much that it becomes the only thing they go by......

I'm fairly atheist I'd say but not full out. I don't like the whole church thing and I don't care for the whole jesus story because i find it to be ridiculous but i'll say this.. religion has brought good and bad things to this world but like i said, people hold on to it so tightly that they can't see reality and it can create problems when it's all people go by because someone told them god said they have to do this or that... It's personal choice and i respect that as well. That is all. cheers

Regilioun to me is something you grow up with and because it's something you've grown up with since you were born it's something people can't let go and that to me is a bit of a problem because they are forced into it. there's not much of a choice from that point on.
God to me is an excuse to cover up reality and George Carlin is a man of reality and i think people need to start leaving relgion behind in the past.

What an amazing testimony to the grace & love of God that comes from Nick's heart! What passion for Christ he has! I pray some wonderful woman will see the beauty that comes forth from him, & love him for the wonderful, godly, good-looking man that he is.
I pray God will use him to touch the hearts of many youth who have problems with self-esteem issues, & they see because of Christ alone, Nick is able to live each day with joy, in spite of his circumstances & they will turn to Christ.
