Ford=k mart cheap, I hope the 2010 models got better. I'll admit Ford did step it up in 2004 but their trucks still suffer from poor reliability.

Ford has cost me thousands, and still to this day I can barely afford to keep my Fords running, good thing business is ok. Not buying Fords anymore, still GMs and Dodges.

@MPLSTORM Well it really depends on the year of your vehicle. If its a bit older then yes ford did have some quality issues, but ford is now leader in build quality. I know with the 6.0 diesel there were some problems (although the engine wasnt ford built, it was by Navistar International). And if its an old truck then yeah bits will start to rattle or stop working, it all depends on the owner, age of the truck etc.

But every man is entitled to their preference of truck!

Well I hope Ford got better after 2008, we stopped buying Fords after that because we can't afford to keep them running. I actually know someone with a 2010 Ford thats having electrical issues already so it sounds like the new ones have the same typical Ford k mart cheap genes. I wouldn't say Ford is the leader in quality at all. I would say theyre number 3 next to GM and Dodge.

@MPLSTORM Well Ive got an 08 f-450 with 70,000 miles and its never gone wrong yet. There are always going to be lemons out there with any car. But the thing I dont like about GM's and Dodges is the cheapness of the interiors, especially with GM. The quality of materials is really disappointing.

But Ford of America has teamed up with Euro-Ford (they are separately run) and have started sharing many components. Euro ford was rated #3 in overall quality of all manufactures. But Euro-Ford is better.

huh our F350s from 2008 have the same quality interiors and our GMs and Dodges from 2008. I would say that I prefer to GM or Dodge interior over the Ford, Ford uses really cheap shit.

@MPLSTORM I drive two bobtails daily, a Dodge 3500 w/ Cummins and an F350 Powerstroke. the Dodge has less miles and the interior is litterally falling apart. Evertime I close the door two screws always pop out somewhere.

i drove one if these, i currently drive a duramax, my truck has a nicer interior than the ford but let me tell you, after seeing the underside of the new F 450, my next truck will be "Built Ford Tough"

I own one of these but theyre unreliable, our company quit buying Fords because theyre k mar cheap like trucks, we still stickin with Dodges and GM trucks because they last a long time with few problems and the Dodges have the most torque!

Ford Powerstoke is a better diesel engine that the Chevy Duramax, when you buy a "Built Ford Tough" truck that will be the only company that you will but a ever buy a truck from, but to match will the truck ford makes some great cars, suv's crossovers,

@russianboy556 You saying that the interior on a GM 2500 than an F250 is ridiculous. The interior of the 2500 is the same as the 1500, the tahoe and some other vehicles. Ford actually spends some extra money on interiors. KING RANCH, nuff said

I have one too, love it but it is thirsty, maybe 15 on the highway, pulling my camper from Fort Worth to Van Horn I got 6.5 miles to the gallon. I wish I could have this truck with a cummins engine
