yes we are all mirrors to and of each other. I am reminded again and again. The Guru is a mirror too. I remember reading The Knee Of Listening when I had to live in a group home long ago. It played a big part of my recovery. & plus my old friend Ray Cooper introducing me to the word of Adi Da (Franklin Jones) LOve and Brightness! ~Bluebell (James Groome- North Carolina)
Yes, Cheech passed away yesterday (12th) at 3.20pm CA time. He will be much, much missed.
I was lucky enough to spend some time with Cheech a few years ago when he spent a year living in Seattle, and I got to hear some amazing stories from him, about his life with Adi Da.
I would say 'God Bless' but that has always already been the case. He lived a much Blessed life.
Very sad to hear of Cheech's passing Nov 12/09. His stories have been an insipration and I know he will be dearly missed. May his transition be swift and easeful and he rests once again in the embrace of His Divine Presence Parama Sapta- Na Adi Da Samraj.
Well, to begin, God is Soul, and Soul is God. Not the soul that is in the created man, but the Soul that is Deity and self-existent, without beginning or ending, and Whose entity is the one great fact in the universe of being.
God is back of force and principle and law, which are only expressions of His being, and which without Him could not exist; and they are only existences, changeable, dependent and subject to the will of God, who only, is Being.
I was an early follower of Da ...when he was still called Bubba...sat in satsang with him a few times too...
and realized I didnt need him at all ...That he was NOT GOD..nor are you and I as we did not create ourselves or this world ... He was a very smart sixth spherian guru ... I'll give him that ...and he could manipulate energies ..for sure. God's Love is so much easier than his nonsense ....which is endless intellectual considerations. God's Love is direct
@jimmyaloha I'm afraid to ask what a spherian is. You obviously needed to be in Adi Da's direct company to find out that you are not yet ready for What He has to offer. His teaching is useless to most people. Most people want a great adventure with lots of lights and roller coasters. Adi Da is for those who have some basic understanding of the futility of the search. It sounds obvious and a truism but you either get Adi Da's argument or you don't and you don't. No big deal. Some day maybe.
It was your readings Chandirah that got me started here, which are beautiful as are you. I came across Da briefly years ago but this time I'm paying attention.
Now when you're done "bathing in the silence of his Darshan." Maybe you can provide something for us scholars of Consciousness who don't want to worship anything.
I've been coming to the Utube every day for months now looking for Adi Da recordings...and every day I'm dissapointed.
One would think at Daist headquarters they would have gotten the impression by now that there is a swell of interest in hearing this brilliant man speak. Readings and second-hand stories don't cut it.
Sorry for your dissapiontment, more excerpts are coming, but as with many things so much to do so little time, but there are 5 new talks full length out on dvd, and we have put out an audio podcast series, look up Adi Da on itunes there are nine talks there.
Awesome! As usual you always find the most interesting material to post... I am not always so resistant (RE: the realnoid comment) to the nice images... keep them coming, Thanx!
Thanks for the comments guys! :-) Glad to hear you like it.
Realnoid, that's what is so special about Cheech. No fluff. Very down to earth. He's really lived an amazing and intense life. I'm lucky enough to have heard a number of stories from him. :-)
why did adi da say that Satan must be restored to heaven from whence he fell?

I dont really believe people can see God, God has to be lived....of course lots cannot see God
bruceleeC64 2 years ago
There is nothing which is not God, no matter what people personally make or don't make of Adi Da.
How could anything or anybody not be God?
The Guru is a mirror. I see God. And that's enough for me.

I agree.
That wasn't so hard. . .
Now about my first question.
What spherian are you?
And how would you describe that state of consciousness?
Thanks

If you are only open to the intellect than, that will be all that you can percieve.
Adi Da is bliss incarnate.
Now and for ever.

Touching story. This story kinda clears up or explains
some doubts that I had. I am resistant to the nice images,
pictures and colors. They are meant to have an effect.
Speaking of which, those final scenes do have their
desired effect.
