He's too short, too youngish-looking for a hero who was supposed to fight in battles for 5 years in Holy Land. Not to mention, he's annoying, cocky and has no chemistry whatsover with Marian. While Marian and Gisbourne is a totally different case altogether.:) Richard Armitage was awesome as Gisbourne:) But I also like Lucy Griffith's Marian and Lara Pulver's Isabelle.

Well, like romana55 said, I too cannot root for Robin in this BBC series, because my Robin will always be Michael Praed in "Robin of Sherwood". Put Jonas Armstrong (in character and appearance) next to Michael or in this series Richard Armitage and in my opinion/taste he falls far behind.

Guy is very well written and excellently played by RA. He's the only reason I watch this series. And yes... he's absolutely stunning too!

Guy wanted want Robin had, his woman, his lands so Guy could become this powerful person but Marian could never love Guy while he stood by & worked for the Sheriff

IMO though Guy's character was better written than Robin's in this version of RH
