@PepsiiiTwiSt the atrix is already out. the sg2 doesnt come out for a while. if youre willing to wait, definatly get the sg2. i couldnt wait so the atrix is in my hand right now. the resolution is alot better that this shows and by the time my next upgrade is available the new quad cores might already be out :D so really it depends on your patience but the atrix is definately worth it. i havent put it down yet and once you root it, the possibilities are endless.

it's great (and funny) that the when the original android phones were coming out, all of the hands-on review videos would be so in depth of all the built-in apps and features, but now everyone seems to be pretty educated in all of these features which is awesome. so now everything just seems to be about RAM, processor speed, screen specs, and other unique features.

although i would love to see a demonstration of the power and capability of the biometric fingerprint scanner :)

Iphone 4 has 1ghz processor. And apple will up there software this year. Android while a good os need a lot of work. It's slow laggy and fragmented. If you have a android phone the os is supported one time. Then your shit out of luck for the next update.

There is really no need to fight anyone else down. Personally, I've used both platforms and both have their advantages and disadvantages. But if you asked me, IMHO -- I favour Android because of its overall flexibility. Apple has got apps but Android has essentially freedom. Like booting between Android and Ubuntu or Debian. Open source is a good thing. More can happen...

@rushrules1968 Apple did start the entire Smartphone craze, but they have now been surpassed. IOS can only take Apple so far, soon they need to beef up their hardware. The iPhone 5 MUST have at least a 1 gz processor with more RAM. If it doesn't, people will start to become frustrated with the fact that apple only makes one new phone a year and that phone isn't even the best on the market. This Atrix is a real game changer. Soon, Apple will be playing catchup with Android.

Download an app called LauncherPro from the android market and it'll let you replace most of Blur. It's also extremely customizable so you can make it look almost any way you like. There's also ADW Launcher and Go Launcher, the latter of which gives a little more of an iPhone like interface. There's a bunch of options.

@mattob775 If your question is regarding turning off blur, well when you boot up your phone first time, you will be asked if you want to keep blur on. Same goes for other things like getting contact list from facebook etc. If your question is regarding unlocking, well there is a fingerprint reader at the top back, to unlock, simply slide your funger and it will unlock the phone w/o entering any pass code.

Two 1Ghz cores, 1GB of RAM, Making it the most powerful phone just in sheer numbers.

Its new QHD screen is much higher res (Exactly 1/4 1080p, but on a MUCH smaller 4" display, ie 960x540, 1080p is 1920x1080), IMO better than SAMOLED (haven't seen the plus, but QHD is as good as retina, but with more accurate colours and better contrast)

No it doesn't, it supports HSDPA up to 14.4 mbps which is what AT&T and T-Mobile are calling 4G. It is not LTE capable.

I remember when this was still code named "Olympus" a couple months ago. It should have kept that name because this phone belongs on Mt Olympus and live among the gods. Belongs in the highest pantheon. Dual core + 1GB of RAM? Tegra 2 + 1930 mAH battery? 16GB but expandable w/ 32 to boost it to 48GB. Turning it into a desktop is just icing. Just recently won CES best phone award. This ATRIX 4G has the making of a true legend. A MONSTER. My iPhone 4 just took a giant shit after seeing this phone.
