Never been a Morbid Angel fan but I cringed through this entire album (especially here). Just to prove that it's not only bad to long-time Morbid Angel fans.
This is a Destructhor song. They each brought songs to the table for the album, so it's not like the old MA albums to start with.
If people call any songs on here Industrial, Punchy claims on the forums only the first track has synth/computer/keyboard and most of the songs have parts with 20+ guitar tracks layered. They may be rehashing some older electro industrial themes, but they're not using 'electronics'. It's a good album.
I've got to say that I never saw this coming. Morbid Angel has become the next Samael in the sense of shifting to industrial metal with extreme metal influences.

trey needs to put "angel of disease" on the ol' headphones and realize that he could do the vocals for an entire album as well as all the guitar playing and compositions. for me, that track has the best vocals of any MA song. why trey continually plays "yes man" to Vincent's tired shtick is beyond me. Domination was the first sign of VIncent's WWE / Nascar / Drag Queen personality coming out, and it's only gotten worse. His lyrics are worse than those of a pretentious 14yo slipknot fan.

@BabyEviscerator well in that same interview their was a side interview with Dave (most of it was about how he rejoined the band etc) but he mentions that he walked into Trey experimenting with some "sounds" and Dave was apparently blown away by it. So in the end Dave approved of the new sound. Im hoping when Pete the Feet comes back he'll talk the guys into not pulling this stunt again

@BabyEviscerator well in that same interview their was a side interview with Dave (most of it was about how he rejoined the band etc) but he mentions that he walked into Trey experimenting with some "sounds" and Dave was apparently blown away by it. So in the end Dave approved of the new sound. Im hoping when Pete the Feet comes back he'll talk the guys into not pulling this stunt again

Look at Judas Priest and Overkill, they experimented yet most of it was as good as the usual stuff they brought out.
This is just an abomination, but I have to agree that this song is kinda catchy... Maybe 'cos you can't hear his "Death Metal" vocals. Daves totally lost 'em.

After 27 years at the top of the genre and doing exactly the same thing they're aren't allowed to do something different? There isn't any ground left to cover in metal. One thing I can't stand is the self-aggrandizing metal "purists" who think that their tastes are better than everyone elses and makes them more "metal". Yeh whatever. Come up with an album that's better yourself, then you can criticize. Apart from Radikult, I like this album. Not their best effort at all, but I still like it.

I think some of the songs on this album they mad before the got Tim to play on it since Pete wasn't available. This is definetly a drum machine wich Trey would love to do for every song , he dosen't like accustic drums , he has said in many interviews he thinks there stupid.
