@shupster369 Lol My '02 Silverado has a 4.8L, K&N filter, Hypertech Max energy prog., Flowmaster 40 Series with Cat. Conv. and Muff. The tires are Goodyear Eag. mounted on 20in Cattivo 724 wheels, and..i've beaten every Hemi Dodge, Silverado 327, 350, 6.0, PowerJoke Ford, Duramax Chevy, Cummins Dodge that I have lined up against...Only races I have lost are against cars. All with 242,000 miles and never any engine work or repair. But I also didn't know they still made them. They are fantastic.

do you get nay fumes in the cab when driving with the windows down ?

He traded this truck in about 2 years ago, but he never had any issues with fumes that I can recall. I imagine that if you were sitting at a light with the windows down a breeze could blow it back towards the cab. This setup worked pretty good for him though.

Because of this video, I got a 40 series on my 4.8 liter. Sounds almost identical now that I've put some miles on it. I LOVE IT!

CBR600F400: It is a standard 40 series two chamber. from the muffler forward was stock, and from the muffler back was just 2 3/4 pipe going under the leaf spring and out the side.

talking to the local muffler guys they said the 40's are usually pretty loud. how is it just under normal driving conditions? is it really loud?

it was a little loud inside but not unbearable

if your lookin for loud when you rip on the accelerator, but u want quiet under normal conditions, get a flowmaster super 50, my friends 73 camaro is sick with it

It's not that bad on the road, unless you want it to be....but with gas at 3.25, and getting 16mpg, i try to keep it as quiet as possible! thanks for the comments guys!

I've ridden in it and it's not too bad really. It sounds great with a load. When you open it up it gets pretty loud. Not my truck, btw.
