  • Ya the yellow hue was the first thing I noticed, i guess i will get used too it

  • my iphone 3g has no tint of any kind its brighter than my old iphone i think its better

  • There are 2 color calibrations of screens floating around. One with a green or yellow push, one with a more pinky vibe. You can instantly tell by looking at the blue menu bar at the top.

Both superior to the 2g IMO.

  • This was an intentional decision by Apple. They increased the temperature of the iPhone 3G's screen, which makes the colours brighter and more sharp and also allows deeper blacks to be displayed. It also gives it a bit of a mellow look but only when your looking at pure white.

  • More colourful? Yes. Sharper? Hmm, I'm not convinced. However, I do think that screen in an improvement. I'd just like to see Apple provide control over the colour temperature.

  • mine is yellow and its horrible looking! there is a way to change this with a firmware update but i cant figure how that works

  • You connect your iPhone to the comp. Start itunes and push restore in iTunes.
