Superb unique encounter of great Claude Bolling and Michel Legrand, both great (French) jazz composers, arrangers, pianists, film music composers.

Notice that the (to me and many other musicians) "best jazz bassist in the world", Mr. Niels-Henning Oersted Pedersen (Danish) is at the bottom with his impeccable and huge sound.

¡Espectacular!....Claude Bolling y Michel Legrand a dos pianos. Probablement los dos mejores pianistas/compositores/arregla­dores de Francia y entre los grandes del mundo. Los detalles no mencionan que el contrabajista es el que (para mí, y muchos) fue el MEJOR contrabajista del mundo: El danés Niels-Henning Oersted Pedersen, fallecido hace algunos años, y prodigio profesional del bajo desde los 14 años.

Deux splendides génies! J'ai eu l'occasion de jouer avec Mr Bolling (hier) avec le big band amateur dans lequel je joue et c'est un véritable plaisir de voir à quel point ce grand homme est d'un professionnalisme extraordinaire. Et avoir vu le Claude Bolling Big Band! Un vrai bonheur! Si vous avez l'occasion d'aller voir ses concerts pour tous les amateurs de jazz foncez!

"Le petit journal ..." se situe dans quel département merçi d'avance car je suis intéressé ...raison de plus j'ai étudié toutes ses partitions depuis 76 même la partition de" tea for two "écrite de sa main qu'il nous a amicalement envoyée.., si j'ai bonne mémoire CB est originaire de nice (avril 1930) et s'est éxilé aux USA peut-être est-il revenu en France pour ma part j'ai un peu perdu sa trace...Je n'oublierai jamais sa façon de jouer... Le Petit Journal Saint-Michel se trouve à Paris, 71 boulevard Saint-Michel Paris 5ème. Tous les mois, ou presque,Claude Bolling s'y produit en Trio. Il passe encore de temps en temps au Petit Journal Montparnasse, 13rue du Commandant Mouchotte Paris 14ème. Si vous passez par Paris n'hésitez pas!
