  • Thank you Mrprabhakar19944 indeed, people like you should do comments on youtube please,as much as you can, to give an endind core to useless fights on internet. this is a dilemma with our decades that we could never discover a true solution for peace and prosperity for both parts of indo-pak As a society why we could never plan to subside more than 70 percent of budgetery allocation to militiry forces instead spending these huge amounts on education, welfare ,health for both nations ....

  • @shahzadsaqib2537

  • When I was really really young I use to not like Noor JahanJi cuz Mom use to call her my Abba's girl friend.!! As I grew up to b a teenager of course I fell in love with her beauty n her velvet voice.! And one day I did tell my Abba "U sud have marreid her" (JK MOM) Amazing voice n beauty...!!! Thank You.

  • Surendranathji sang exceedingly well along with Madam Noor jehan. He always followed Saigal school. No doubt he was called Bombay Saigal when he entered the filmdom. Credit also must go to Naushad Sahib for such music and the song became all time great. The singers became immortal with the song. Long live their memory.

  • @Mrprabhakar1944

Absolutely. Thanks for knowledgeable and touching comments.

  • great indian voice...

  • @svdeals

    Thanks.

  • NOOR JAHAN ~~ My Abba was soo much in love with her n her melodious voice.!

  • @malaykuree1

    Thanks.

  • I used to think she is an Indian. Anyway , i realise there is little difference.

  • @thapa3

After this movie, on partition of the country she migrated to Pakistan. Thanks.

  • I was three or four years old when I had heard my uncle who was in upper teens singing this Awaz thay Kahan Hai. I did not know anything about it until much later when I saw old song of Noor Jahan singing. Now I am 68 years old, my uncles and Noor Jahan are long gone. But the beauty of human creations persists long after.

  • @skk001itu

Absolutely. It is nostalgic. Thanks for liking and touching comments.

  • @skk001itu

Absolutely. I share your experience (I am 60 years old). Thanks.

  • This song has been a great link to India and Pakistan inspite of fighting each other for the last six decades tooth and nail. Millions of fans for this song exist on each side of the border appreciating the actor- singers who became immortal..There can not be any limits and boundaries for true talent and its appreciation. With creation of Pakistan and subsequent problems, the cultural exchange between both the countries suffered seriously causing great loss to both.

  • @Mrprabhakar1944

Absolutely. Thanks for realistic and touching comments.

  • Surendraji always remained great singer. His song in Gawaiah under Ram Ganguly.. Teri yad ka deepak Jalta Hai... was superb better than that of Talat in fact. However as times changed music also changed. Surendraji laso crossed his prime age and entered his fifties in the period of 1960-1970 and obviusly he shifted to character roles. . He concentrated in business by opening an advertising firm with his son Kailashnath and Jeet and they made their name already.

  • @Mrprabhakar1944

Thanks for excellent information - I was not knowing much about Surendranath ji.

  • The greatest hit of all times with surendranathji and Madam Noor jehan and they became immortal with this song. But after this movie, they again could not act together as she migrated to Pakistan. There is a problem in uploading as they is no co ordination of song and video. This may please be corrected. One never gets tired listening to this song

  • @Mrprabhakar1944

Thanks for nice comments and information. True; there is some problem regarding audio and video synchronization for which I deeply regret.

  • Great song. I saw this movie many times but still wish to see one more time. What a dialogues delivery/acting etc. thanks a lot for uploading such a great song.

  • This song takes me back to 1940s when I was a school kid in Madurai, South India. I did not know Hindi but I liked the tune and singing very much. When I was in the VI standard in Setupathi High school my class mate was one Iyengar girl called Ranganayaki. I have long forgotten her face. But on hearing this song I remembered her face vividly. The magic of good music ! What beautiful times !

Peace and calm previled then. No Jai ho to irritate you !

  • In 1987 I attended a concert by Madam in Kennedy Center D.C. She started the concert with this song. During the intermission I met her backstage. After the intermission she satisfied my request with "Muzse Pahali si Muhabbat mere mehaboob na Maang" She said she liked to sing Urdu songs but the crowd was Panjabi hence she had to sing Panjabi songs.

  • @ASHOKPANDIT1

  • Thanx YouTube. I was in quest for this very song for the last several years. What a fantastic song is- Aawaz De Kahan Hai. Today’s generation (film makers) have no idea about it, perhaps. “Koye Kitna Bhi Aage Jaye Aaj, Lekin Iska Mukabala Nahi Kar Sakta.” Thanx again.

  • @jagmohansingh58

Thanks for liking and generous and rich comments.

  • Hello. What a voice! I mean Surender Nath's. In 30's and 40's, Surender was the second actor with a superb voice after K.L. Saigal. Unfortunately, come 50's and into 60's, Surender faded away as a singer and remained just as a role actor, mainly father. He did act as hero in film Gawaiyya 1954, music by Ram Gunguly where he was playbacked by Talat Mahmood.

  • @RealMusicKing

Thanks for appreciation of the voice, and, also information on Surendra Nath.

  • @rkmakharia

True. There is some defect; regret that it is beyond my control. Thanks for liking.

  • oldie but good

  • @dskarma

  • Great music that inspires us aspire for a borderless world so that we could just walk over and listen to the gems of our subcontinent

  • @amitgoel150

Thanks for liking and rich comments.

  • wow, madam was great and shall ever great in our heartssssssssssssss

  • @HUMA185

Thanks for liking and appreciation of the real GREAT.

  • And please also give Surindera credit for his superb part.

  • Thanks. His name is mentioned already in the introduction.

  • Both Lataji and Malike tarnum Noor Jehan are like two eyes of the music of subcontinent, they both are not restricted to borders of india or pakistan, they are in our hearts.

  • Welcome.

  • Bohat hi umda baat ki aap nay...

  • noor jehan looks so innocent and pretty, and song is ever green, very good. thnkx for upload .........

  • Welcome.

  • shakeb is a shit loser himself thats why he has nothing good to say about anybody. how dare he say anything bad about our melody queen Noor Jehan? she had the best voice in the world.. million thumbs down to sakeb. keep yr mouth shut.

  • I like the male part more ...

  • shakeb111 u are right,ur are a fuckin ars and lan.

  • A personal opinion like yours doesn't change the fact that Noor Jahan was an extremely talented singer, and deserving of the highest respect.

  • I have not given any unfavourable opinion.

  • This is a dreadful song

  • noore khuda hay kufr ki harkat pe khanda zan phoonkon se ye chirag bujhaya na jayega.

  • Noor jehan is a crap singer. Her voice lacks

delicacy, feminity, mellowness and she sings like a man rather than a woman, the way indian

    singers Lata,Asha,shamshad,Geeta Dutt,suraiya

delicately and tenderly sing Noor doesnt.

so Noor jehan is jarring and rattling to the

ear.She is an abhorrent singer and she stinks

    from Shakeb Arsalan Great Britain

  • you are just piece of what(sh)she was great singer lata ji and asha ji a diffent way to perfrom every singer is great be they have gust to perfrom front of million,s

  • Lataji has repeatedly said that she ranks Saigal Saheb and Noor Jehan (whom she also regarded as her Aapa or elder sister) have been the two greatest singers in the movie industry and whom she has openly admired. May I suggest that Lataji's opinion deserves some respect, please?

  • Both Lataji and Noor Jahan gave high regards to each other like true artists do. Both said that the other was greater than her.

  • Thanks. It shows their greatness.

  • shut up shakeb..whatever your name is...their is no match to Madam..and the singers u have listed here are great and these great people do adore Noorjahan....and please dont use the word Indian while writing commments coz 1 or 2 black sheeps dont reflect whole country..I am Indian.I just love them all...your comment better shows your immature juding and bad taste my all time fav are Lata,Asha,Shamshad,Noorjahan,Munni Begum,Farrida Khanum..........Irrespective of their country of origin.....
