Just use a vicks type vapor rub 2 times daily with a vinegar soak. I used it and it worked after about 3 months. My nails broke off and the new ones are clear. I still use the mix to prevent any more problems.

You know what I did with my fungus toe nails? I chizzled and sandblasted the fuckers down with a battery powered rotating filer. I sandblasted the thick ass nasty toe nail until nothing was left and my toe was bleeding. After my toe stopped bleeding I put the the anti fungus topical cream on the toe nail (what was left of the toe nail). I refuse to let those toe nail grow until they grow as a regular toe nail and not some gross fucken yellow, thick Freedo looking thing.

i had this for a few years and actually got rid of it by rubbing vics vapour rub on it :p it cleared up completely in a few weeks XD i found the tip of a website tried it and it worked. i only tried it because my tablets weren't working and another round could destroy my kidneys or the doctor was talking about lmao XD

@soph60 You're absolutely right, that's all he needs. A few really small drill bits, size 3/64 of an inch, twist the drill bit in your finger tips, makeing little holes all over the nail and the oil soaks through the nail. As the fungus dies and dries, just scrape it out with a flat metal instrument, old butter knife or what ever, sharp knife if someone has dexterity not to cut the good skin. Nobody needs anything else except a 2 ounce bottle of Tea Tree Oil from the vitamin section/Walmart.

@soph60 Nope, promise I wasn't being sarcastic. Tea Tree oil is a phenomenal natural bottle of powerful chemistry. I'm very alergic to stinging insects. A wasp stung me right behind my nail on my left index finger and in 60 seconds it was swollen like a mosquito bite. About that same time I was putting a cotton ball soaked w/ tea tree oil over the sting, the swelling went down to nothin and it went down immediately, 20 minutes later I removed the cotton, no problem!

I had the same frustrating problem years back on the same toe....one day I tripped on some stairs and the entire nail just popped off. I was shocked but glad it happenend. So what I did was wrap the toe in a bandage type guaze, applied peroxide and alcohol to it daily, right through the gauze, for about 2 weeks The nail grew back perfectly, the fungus never came back. So...my suggestion is to let the infected toenail grow long enough so that you can remove it safely, then do what I did.

Hi Franco.  I feel your pain. I had nail fungus for over 10 years. I tried all of the natural remedies... Vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, Vicks, tea tree oil, oregano oil, etc. I finally used a product from Fungiban that totally removed the fungus in about 3 months. But I continued to use it until my nails were clear and grown out. The secret of this product is it contains stuff to allow the medicine to permeate the nail. And i kept the nails filed thin first few months.

I was going to try cracked heal cream and this has afermed the idea, so i will try it. i have been on terbinafine for a week and the doc didnt do a blood test before and i have come out in a blistery rash which nhs said ignore then the doc said no just stop. And they didnt assess my liver as we went along either. i guess thats the way it works in the uk.

I had this same issue a few years back.... My big toe was in pain for a few weeks and I noticed my toenail began to turn a yellow/cream color. The nail began to lift up off my toe and thats when I decided to go to the doctor... He told me to soak it daily but unfortunately we had no water at our house... Instead I just had my dog lick it each night and the fungus cleared up. :) worked like a charm!

I tried the Vinegar, over the counter meds, listerine, tea tree oil, all that cost me TOTAL maybe $300+ over the course of 8 months. I figured I was just going to wash my hands of the fungus and get laser. Worked, I am now fungus free, thank goodness it was humiliating.

@lightinthedusk No, I think youa re confusing laser with radiation. With laser there is no radiation or effects. The tissue is not damaged. The laser is especially calibrated to target the fungus organism and basically kills it.

You will however have to wait for the new NON infected nail to grow back, which is frustrating, but once it grows back ...no more fungus.

this is fungal infection inside your body and shows on toe and finger nail according to how bad it is, it has nothing to do with washing yr feet.! You need to stop alcohol, sugar, white flour, processed foods, etc etc. and treat with tea tree oil or eucalyptus oil.. the paint on treatment the doctor gives u is highly, highly toxic and causes liver damage.

Dude, all you need to do is soak your feet in equal parts warm water and apple cider vinegar for 30 mins... then dry you feet thoroughly then apply 100% pure tea tree oil to the nail and cuticles or you could use Vicks vapour rub... do that every night for 8 weeks and the fungus will be totally gone.. new nail will grow back in around the 3rd month..
