I think your tutorials are great; I just have a few questions.
#1 What brand of the adhesive do you use to make it last as long?
#2 I have a very small head and I purchased a beautiful Malaysian Indian, but it is one size fits all, I adjusted the straps and it tends to rise up, what can I do?

Hello and thank you! I use Ms Lola's Adhesive Cream to bond my wigs. If you're comfortable with sewing, you can add seams to your wig for a better fit.
can you please tell me where I can get that glue you used and the glue remover. i checked your site but I dont see it. alos im not that good with computers. thanks.
no sweety...u have to take ur measurement before bying a lace, 21" is small, 22.5" medium and more tahn 23" is large. u have to send it back and buy one at your size...
It's seems so easy but im scared to try it. I am not very good at doing hair but i cannot afford to buy wig and pay the prices they charge right now. also can you refer me to a place to buy the wigs and what kind is best?
Hi miss Lola! Love your videos. I noticed that your hair line seems to be far back. Have you shaved them,is it previous damage or has the lace front application done the damage? want to get one for a wedding because my hair is still healing from previous activity but I dont want to do any more harm.
Hi Mrs Lola, I have a 10" from you and currently have a custom unit on order from you. My question is how do you stop the lace from fraying, I bout no fray from the fabric store but it doesn't seem to be doing a very good job....are there any other tips?
I think the easiest way to put it is when material starts to unravel, like the hems of jeans if left to drag on the floor....the lace becomes unravel in the front thereby beginning to show even when stuck down.....I don't wear lace units anymore.....couldn't find a glue that worked and the units didn't wow me like i thought they would....and i bought from several sources and paid as much as $550 for one...bought three altogether. I guess it's a hit or miss thing..my half a wigs do me just fine.
Ms. Lola thanks for the tip about making your own inserts to line the inside of the lace cap with. I tried it and it works great. It's a lot more comfortable than wearing a wig cap. Thanks again.
Hi-- I suffered the hair loss around my front hair line 20 years ago when I allowed a stylist to use a weaving machine on my hair. The procedure made the tracks so tight my hair fell out overnight. The follicles were so traumatized, my hair never grew back. This type of hair loss is called traction alopecia, the same that results from wearing tight rollers and braids over a long period of time. 35% of African-American women have this type of hair loss in different degrees of severity.
I don't want to come off rude or anything "Please believe that the following question is out of pure curiosity" Were your edges that damaged before you started using the lace front?
ms lola, it's good to see u back w/ new vids. i just want to say that u r a beautiful woman. i hate that u did not come to chi town w/ your lace sessions. i was so looking forward to meeting u. i plan on ordering from u soon. i want a wig for the fall so i'll be talking to u soon. keep the vids coming, i need them so i can install my wig lol.

Hi Ms Lola,
Can you tell me whether or not you can bond a synthetic whole wig and if it is okay to go swimming in the wig?
Thank you for your help.
marlinenola 1 year ago
You can bond a synthetic wig around the front hairline, but should never swim with the wig, as it would tangle and matte badly.

Does lace wigs take away your edges?....and what exact adhesive are you using for your wig to stay bonded for 3weeks

does anyone know what glue she used and where I can get it?
Blazinputa4upapi 2 years ago
Lovely educational video. Whay did you do the insert withthe stocking material? The lace appeared to already have a lace scalp?
snookerdoodle100 2 years ago
Hi-- I used the wig cap to simulate a scalp appearance because the lace material is so sheer it will reveal my dark hair underneath.

3 weeks?? wow.
Do baby hairs matter, or do you need to shave the hair completely smooth before glueing?
