This just shows us that he is an arrogant person. The gall for him to claim that he lived in Chicago. No, he lived in Washington D.C. How simple is this to understand? Emanuel don't. He thinks this law should not apply to him.

The residency law is focused on military personnel. Not for him. This is a man that planned poorly. All he had to do, is to keep his family in Chicago. Take a flight back and forth on the weekends. He is a millionaire. A use of a chartered jet would make the logistics faster.

@anolmec -- It would be very interesting to know the analyse of Obaid. There has been a "chain reaction" (at least according to the media here in Spain) from Syria to Mauritania, due to the "Jazminrevolt" in Túnez. Frankly, I like this: these "troubled waters" are a hope for a better development of the Ummah (at least, it is my hope). All the best from Spain.
