duh?! the first SENTAI made was GO ranger and it was japanese made, power ranger is only the american version of ZYU Ranger, and if it was not made then power rangers will not get the idea,
i have nothing against the american version of these sentai but i think the stories of american version is a bit corny... well can't find the word to describe that... well i think that the japanese ones is great.. can't remember in any power rangers edition that a certain ranger died....
