Este xabal es un femonmeno, yo la toke en 4 de g.m, pero ni punto de komparacion, sin duda se puede konvertir en uno de los mejores trompetistas del mundo.Un salu2 desde miranda
Look - There is no doubt that this kid is a freaking genious when it comes to music. NO ONE IS SAYING OTHERWISE! I simply said that he is playing w/ no emotion. It's obvious. The viewer can't feel a connection to the music unless the performer is actually pouring into the music. THIS IS UNDERSTOOD BY MOST MUSICIANS. The kid is BRILLIANT! No one disagrees. However, he would be tons better if you played with more emotion. More people would be able to connect with the music.
Hi. You'r a bit strong wtih, don't you ? If he was 45 or 50, after many years of practice, I could be 100% with you.
Something is missing, i'm ok with that. But just give him some time ! He is 9 ! I'll keep him in sight : in a few years ( he is 15 today), he could become a very famous trumpetist.
Okay...this specific song has no emotion...but as I watch some of his other performances, there is emotion and musical brilliance! He's really fantastic...(just not this performance so much)
Pobre Ruben, por mucho talento innato que tenga o que le gusta lo que hace, es mucha presion sobre el niño: a los 20 años va a ser un anciano, es muy bueno en lo que hace, excelente, pero es un crimen, el es un niño aun....
You're so right. All I'm saying is that what is music without emotion and passion? We could create a machine to play this with the same amount of emotion this kid put into his performance. I'm not trying to take away from his brilliance at all. I'm just wondering why a boy with so much talent can't get into the music he's playing. Perhaps it is his age.
um...no? perhaps you aren't exposed enough to the world of music. If you were, you would be able to tell the kid isn't playing with emotion. The same is for any musician. Music without emotion is NOT music, merely notes. You have to have a feeling behind what you play
I'm sure he'll develop that in time. i think he's concentrating on the timing and fingering. look at sergei nakariakov, that guy plays to his feet. but i don't hear anyone complaining. watch allen vizzutti. stands completely still and shows no emotion. but still impresses. quit being jealous of a 9 year old!
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
okay...jealousy - not really. sure he's good. In fact, he is brilliant, and emotion will surely come with time! And when it does, there is no denying that he will be an even better player. I still think that the emotional side to music is key.
ok, no. He's good, and I would be overjoyed to have the talent he does, but my comments are in no way made in jealoUsy. I only said what I noticed when I first saw the video. I'm not saying the kid isn't good, and I'm honestly not speaking with envy - only observation.

I was about to fall of my chair when I heard this!
Man...I can't believe it! Just to get a tone like that as a 9 year old. I'm about to apply for the academy, and I am going to play Aroutunian, and even though I can play it it still an extremely diffucult concert. And to play it as a 9-year old....well this kid ain't human! He's gonna be the next Hardenberger!

Hi Ruben (once again) from your No.1 Fan.
Any chance you might play some of the other (little known) 'Arban' solos and perchance on a Cornet?
You are a great player and I know there is more to come.
Best wishes,
John
