  • Wtf my 1.4ghz core 2 duo 11" MacBook air is twice as fast as these

  • @mirracobmxr any 11" MacBook air will be using the newer sandybrige processors which will massively increase performance. Along with the fact that you have a SSD and these two have mechanical HDD's

  • Mhz?

  • edit the sound beach !_))) your breathing is killing me .... pervert

  • please make more videos comparing these two models but with a better test. opening programs, importing videos to iMovie, converting etc... please

  • Haha, MHz, lol

  • dang my macbook (late 09 80 gb free) takes 3m 36 seconds

  • @MrDbro It's broke. My 3 year old black MacBook takes about 30 secs.

  • mhz? that'd be a pretty doggone slow computer lol.

  • @OfficialENXO Compared to what? Dumbass.

  • @danhellerjr every computer on the planet....? we're talking GHZ vs MHZ..? Powerbooks and iBooks had 800mhz processors. Slowest thing I've ever operated....Really dude?

  • The 2.13Ghz MBAir comes standart with a ssd.

The 1.86Ghz MBAir comes with a 1.8inch hdd. have you installed a sdd in the 1.86ghz version?

  • dude, how do you afford them?

  • @roscropoor13 A job.

  • I want one.

  • youtube is so slow.

    Nice comparation!

  • u got it wrong its gigahertz

  • I've read that 2,13 Ghz is slower than 1,8 Ghz.

Could you make a comparison with iTunes, Pages, Garage Band or another program???

  • maybe because the 1.8 Ghz has a solid state drive while the other doesnt...

  • nice

  • Awesome and thank you that was just what i needed to see to make my decision!

  • How fast is your internet connection? YouTube took forever to load.

  • Wow it's a stunning speed for a processor of just 2.13 MHZ...

    XD lol

  • Other than the fact the 1.8 looks to have a ton of icons/loaded up HDD or assuming SSD which would slow it down, the best way to show a true speed comparison would be to have two clean installs of OSX.

Either way have you noticed any heat issues, stuttering or beachballs when viewing online video from sites like Hulu in full screen?

I messed with a 1.86/ssd model and the fan would istantly goto max RPM when any video would run full screen, which would drown out the mono speaker on the MBA.

  • you have megahertz instead of gigahertz
