Bo was operated on shortly after this for gastro intestinal blockage. One year later two more emergency surgeries for the same thing. He's been well now for about 1 1/2 years. He was very sick on AI, but never played the sick card. Always gave his best.

I adore Bo, but I always prefer original versions of any song. This is awesome tho! Bo does cover songs because they are songs he loves, not because he thinks he's better than anyone. I saw him last week and he did a few covers and they were excellent. He can sing the hell out of anything. His voice is larger than life! Anyone who loves Bo knows how humble he is. Just because he covers an Eagles song, doesn't mean he thinks he's better than the Eagles, or anywhere close. I'm sure he acknowledges that they play their own song better. Personally, this is the second best version I've ever heard. Usually when an artist covers a song, he or she is trying to show appreciation for the original artist, not prove that they are better.

Bo broke his foot and thus had to replace his song I Don't Want to Be with this a slow one. The best thing that came out of this is that he got to sing such a beautiful rendition of Desperado. He just did the right thing about it, no oversinging and his voice gave the out the right emotions which a lot of other artist overlook.
