I'm surprised Charlotte won. Her voice is rather grating, her pronunciation isn't great, and she hit a bunch of off notes. She was moving around the stage and that gave her presence, but I just didn't feel the emotion in her singing.

i agree - there was better singers - the finalist were horrible this year except for one - who should of won. other singers i heard in the try outs were actually good - why the hell did they not make it to the finals - i actually got mad when she won - just because she jump up and down - does not make her a good singer - i dont give a shit about u jumping up and down i want to here an actually good singer

I'm sorry that you didn't like my performance, and it's true that I thought Jane had won it, because she did a great job. But I'm not a horrible singer, and I should hope that all bias aside, you can still learn to be nice to other people.

It's the general feeling one gets from reading your post.

I personally believe at least one person did better than Charlotte, but I'm not going to go around saying the other finalists were horrible. Charlotte's voice is beautiful, and Jane's is as well.

You don't win favor by going around saying everyone but your favorite sucked. Nobody wants to hear that - especially not the finalists. If there was little competition, then it devalues their efforts.

You have to take into account that some people aren't accustomed to the way Japanese music requires the voice to be. If I had heard this for the very first time without knowing how Japanese music is, I would thought her voice was bad. So maybe to some people her voice isn't attractive, but by Japanese standards, I thought she was really good.

And honestly the reason i like Jane was because when she song i truelly felt the emotion to the point that i got goosebumps. For me that makes me love the singer. but if it were not for Jane i would say you would of been my favorite . Do understand that some people will not like ur singing and some will love it.

Hey, if you want to support your favorite singer, the right thing to do is go to her video and say something supportive, like: "Jane, I thought you were the best singer. I wish you had won!"

It's an entirely different thing to go to someone else's video and rag on them, directly OR indirectly. That's the very definition of bitter, and it's really, really sad.

Take care, and maybe try niceness out once in a while. You might like it.

The judges were impartial, and one of them was a music producer from Japan. I'm far more likely to believe his opinion of talent than some random scrub from the internet. Speaking from behind your favoritism, of course you're upset, but that's no reason to be bitter or spiteful - that just makes you an ass.

The best act won. Congratulations, Charlotte!

Hi Dreaming, though I thank you for your support, I think it is unfair for you to think that way of Charlotte. She did win fair and square in my honest opinion. She tried her best and her efforts totally paid off! The judges obviously had their reasons why the picked Charlotte and I think they made a wonderful choice.

But Her Performance was great..
