Ahhh they where not living in hell people! they lived in the suburbs and had a pretty normal and good life, so get real! This takes nothing away from them at all, just try to be real here, I knew them VERY well, yes and rest in peace Mike...Fred and Rob...
Yeah! rock and roll 4 ever=Thnx to youtube & keep up the good work wilder! I lived in Motown in the late 80's-early 90's but regrettably didn't get around to c these guys in their prime. I've been on an asskickin machine so many times my cheeks are flat...keep posting.
THE MC5 ROCKED , NOT BECAUSE THEY CAME FROM DETRIOT, NOT BECAUSE IT WAS THE 1960S , NOT BECAUSE THERE WAS A WAR GOING ON , BUT BECAUSE IT WAS TIME FOR THE YOUNG GENERATION TO START A REVOLUTION , TIME TO LOOK BACK AND SEE WHAT IS RIGHT AND WHAT IS WRONG, TIME TO KICK OUT THE JAMS , MOTHER FUCKERS. WHEN YOUR LIVING IN HELL, ALL YOU CAN DO IS FIGHT BACK WITH MUSIC (;-()
Is Sonic Smith playing a Mosright in this video? Benchmark playing-no point in having a really cool guitar if you can not play it. The other guy has a Rickenbacker, right- but what model?
@gorblimey61 Michael , God rest his soul , was apparently fired because his dope habit was so out of control , when everybody in the band but Rob had a dope habit.
This guy's name is Steve Moorehouse , I think. He's British. OH , I think it was really that Davis missed a flight to the UK , and took a later one. The band dwindled down to two , then did one NYE '72-'73 gig , with the classic lineup , then , called it a day.
@mojorayjones What do you think of Danko Jones?? He`s by far the hardest working artist on this planet. Check him out when he comes in a town near you! Greetz from Holland
@mojorayjones These Cats could afford to pour out their Heart and Soul, because they where singing about something that was effecting their lives. Where as for Beiber this kid has nothing to sing about, which is truly of his own Soul.
ABBA in the rnr hall of fame and no graet fucking bands like the MC5 or even GFR? Them guys that run it are a bunch of fucking fucktards yeah you Jizz Wenner!!!!!!

See you Troit guys had MC5 in cleveland we had the James Gang :). I saw them too and believe it or not we had tents up at edgewater and there were people walking around with big bags fiull of pills giving shit away. Man we had so much fucking hash that day :). The fucking cops fucked the show up with their horses and knocked down peoples tents and it was just pure mayham. But man was it was the shit :)
@SurfunSailor Seriously, and that's why the Rock and Roll Hall of fame doesn't mean squat to the fans. Who wants to see a guitar sitting behind some glass?

Detroit/ Liverpool; same output for GDP, same resolve for joblessness and central government policies. Music solves things, not votes.
