  • They look so bored

  • Look at Ivan's slice at 0:20. That fucker seriously moved with sidespin.

  • Some serious wind right there

  • No, I don't !!!

  • In this video, you can actually see that hitting against Rog is no joke! :)

  • damn tennis is so slow, from different angle in grand slam tv broadcasting it looks more agressive, definitely one of the easiest sport ever

  • @volyn have you ever played tennis before?

  • @dinosmashify clearly he hasn't only an idiot otherwise would say that ... ah hes still an idiot

  • @dinosmashify no, I will start next week, hopefully its enough to get next year wimbledon

  • @volyn since you're new to tennis ill explain this to you. What there doing here is something called warming up. When you warm up in tennis, the goal is not to hit the ball as hard as you can away from the other player but to simply warm up your strokes by hitting very smoothly and slowly. Once they start playing, then they will start using power.

  • @volyn Youre gonna lose 6-0 6-0 in your first match mate.

  • lazy hitting? they are warming up cooperatively. these guys have such perfect timing with relaxed motioins. plus, they have uncanny hand-eye coordination. anybody who criticizes players ot this caliber--whom could never pay anywhere near this caliber--literally deserves to be dragged behind jet airplane during and after take off

  • 0:24 wtf? was that Lujbicic?

  • no wonder he won indian wells 2010

  • Watching this, I realize it's damn hard to keep the ball in play even for pros.

  • 0:17 awesome spin slice :D

  • notice all the balls are in Ljubicic's side

  • Such lazy hitting from two legends. Legenda's backhand and Federer's slice still look wonderful.

  • Looks like Luby's joints need some lubrication.

  • Okay Ivan, that was pretty good. Now try to move your feet a little bit. I promise it won't hurt.

  • Roger Federer . . .lousy in practice.

  • @geepeeone <<< typical troll!

  • @hyperwarrior Wow, seriously?! So you're "that" guy.

  • ivan looks like hes 45

  • @TennisXCountry that year,2010 ljubicic won indian wells . he beat djokovic, nadal, and roddick on his way to the title.he looks like hes 45 but he plays like hes 25

  • i think roger has the best forehand ever, but is it text book? he finishes below the shoulder instead of over. i think novak has a text book forehand, but not as good as rogers.

  • @robertk2007 dont know why so many ppl keep sayin that he has the best forehand ever?? he doesnt even have the best forehand of his era, let alone ever. im sure u have seen the matches he played against gonzalez. every time they traded forehands or whenever gonzo got the ball on his forehand, the rally was done. roger has the best results ever, not best forehand ever. ppl confuse things too easily.

  • @thisnamealsotaken You confuse things too easily as well. Pace alone (Soderling/Blake/Gonzalez/etc) has nothing to do with being a "better" forehand. Consistency alone (Djokovic/Murray/etc) has nothing to do with being a "better" forehand. Spin alone (Nadal/Andreev/Verdasco/etc) have nothing to do with being a "better" forehand. Fact is during 2004-2007, Federer's forehand was by far the best when considering all these attributes. His accuracy, pace, spin and placement was tremendous.

  • @AllGenreMusic i see u do the same; cus theres a reason why his forehand was so good during 2004-2007 and thats cus of the worldwide known age old argument about the fact that this was exactly the time period whr the tennis competition was at its weakest. why? cus past legends like sampras, agassi, becker, etc were gone and current legends like nadal, djoker, delpo etc hadnt arrived at the top yet. and besides i never said gonzo was better cus of his pace. so read my comment again.

  • @thisnamealsotaken Oh god, you're one of those who can't view tennis as a whole due to their innate bias towards players. No point in arguing with your ignorant ass. Competition was the weakest rofl.. Someone could easily turn that statement around and say the dominant player in that same era is stronger. Do not start this useless weak era talk.

  • Comment removed

  • @thisnamealsotaken Your comment is such a joke. Djokovic has a losing record vs. Roddick (from Federer's weak era). Nadal has a losing record vs. Davydenko (from Federer's weak era). I could go on. You gotta be shitting me if you don't think the "current legends" of Djokovic/Del Po did not benefit from an aging Federer. Nadal couldn't take Novak to 5 at either Wimbledon or US Open this year, and what 30+ year old had two match points against Novak and actually beat him at a slam? Federer

  • @AllGenreMusic urs is even more my friend. nadal beat ur aging fag in his prime back in 2007 and 2008 so there goes that arg. djokers losing record is cus he played roddick a lot during his early years. let him play roddick now and see what happens. and when fed was beating a 34 yr old agassi back in 2004 and 2005 i didnt see u complaining about agassis age. u fed dickriders are all the same. blocked and put out utube email notifications so bark on ur own.

  • @thisnamealsotaken Absolutely disrespectful. This is why it is useless posting any kind of tennis comments on the Internet. You get biased fools who clearly don't play tennis and prefer some players over the other. A true fan, like myself, loves every player. Sure, we have our favorites, like Safin is for me, but to call someone who has done for so much for the world of tennis, a "fag" is absolutely disrespectful. You think your idols Nadal and Djokovic treat Federer this way? Get out.

  • hardly any players finish "above" the shoulder

  • @robertk2007 its so he generates more power and a flatter shot

  • @robertk2007 you re right, but the thing is that tennis is now so quick that it makes it easier to finish below the shoulder using your wrist to curve down the head of the racket. in the 90's i don t remember of any player doing so. i think it has to do with the speed.

  • snake shot at 0:19

  • Federer 4 glory

  • notice how at 1:02 ljubicic missed three balls in the net roger has none... yes federer is that good

  • fed shanks so many balls in practice, i've heard this from his hitting partners before so im not just basing it on this video. But when he focuses he doesnt mishit nearly as often

  • wow...that spin at 0:16 was crazy...I think it's as nice that federer returned it like it wasn't that impressive.lol

  • it looks like locke from LOST is hitting

  • @pancaken1nja hahahha

  • hahaha both of them are so lazy when they practise

  • @RFmeastro i love everything you do but this aint practice!! haha

  • 0:16 nice spin

  • Ljubicic has the best slice backhand in the world.

  • all those people there to see ljubicic

  • i like the part when they hit the ball to eachother

  • @bhoy029 that is not thrue mate

  • everyone always talks about how "smooth" federer's swing is, but ljubicic has a pretty smooth swing as well.

  • All the balls are on Ljubicic's side haha ^^

  • @bhoy029 Lube has an amazing backhand, where have you been?

  • wacthing them makes me wanna go play tennis

  • what i wouldn't give to play like that...

  • even touring pro's favor hitting the forehand in practice when they should be practicing the backhand more.

  • Ljubicic is like the Ernie Els 'big easy' of tennis :)

  • @MrSuperguy1000 look at 0:19 thats some crazy side spin

  • what a gay lubijic is waht tenison he use 50?my god

  • I have that racket, i'm so proud ;)

  • can a ball break like 3 feet? i think this is proof lol

  • ljubicic made all the unforced errors, the tennis balls are all on his side lol...

  • apparently he's a really nice guy

  • 0:19 FTW

  • bald head, aerodynamic. thats why he won a master series.

  • LMFAO his nickname is "lube"

  • they hit pretty casually as its a warmup. but theyre barely trying lol and still smashing it tho

  • So that's what it looks like when facing federer, I can beat him

  • WOW they play so calmly but the ball goes faster than when I hit with all my strength... I think they would kick my ass 6/0 6/0 just walking^^.

We don't realize when we watch a match on tv but pro players are all hitting very hard

  • can anybody tell me which strings these two use?? I don't see either one hitting with a lot of racket speed, yet the spins are just crazy. Almost like they are playing with whiffle balls.

  • @geepeeone It is called, being a professional tennis player.

  • @andywan1239 its just you ha, really it doesnt look that big

  • their slices are ridiculous lol... sooo muchhh spinnn

  • Most shots at the top of the game are highly idiosyncratic, Federer's forehand included.

  • crazy slices

  • The rally doesn't continue with pro vs pro. That means, Federer's hitting-partner is a good player.

  • Roger's forehand is actually rather eccentric; it's definitely not "textbook."

  • @cys12141

If the textbook definition of a forehand exclude Roger's motion, it means that it is flawed, not that Roger is hitting wrongly, because he obviously hits his forehand decently...

  • @cys12141 Then the textbook needs to change.

  • that's some serious slice lol

  • Roger is true class. love Roger

  • great great vid

  • hey hit with fed...no wonder he beat andy. rog probably gave him his secrets

  • damn... i dont know who this ljubicic guy is but if he beat andy and nadal, he must be really good.

  • @akhanian

ljubicic was actually a pretty famous guy back in 05-06. He was number three in the world until injuries effected him. He couldnt play a for a while and his ranking dropped and recently he is slowly coming back up.

  • that why Ivan Ljubicic won BN Baribas ....He's practices with R.federer...lol

  • @tvsony82 you didn't take english in your school?

  • @hugopelle my bad ,dude

  • wtf combine the videos more into longer segments..

  • finally the good stuff is up!!

  • Yeah Sure

I tried to sign up so many times and it's not working nor have I seen any e-mails...

  • ahh so thats why lubie won!! Fed give him his winning essence? LoL

  • Soo much action on the ball when they're slicing!

  • he is rallying with federer

  • did anyone else notice the side spin at 0:19?

    o.0

  • I love how that shot, which would be unbelievably amazing in a club level match, was just calmly returned by Fed as if nothing out the ordinary had happened.

  • @lystellion errr... that return did not even go in.

  • @Longlebao nor to a lot of them. I just mean keeping up the rally, which is kinda the main object of the exercise.

  • that was some nasty side spin...i'd like to see them hit that more in matches

  • @frosty227 It's a kinda hard to see in a match video but maybe they do often... :)

  • @frosty227 Yeah ;) That was truly amazing :)

  • @frosty227 yeah first he hits a spin that goes left then roger hits a spin that goes right then he hits another one that goes right hahah

  • @frosty227 OMG 00:19 is woooooooo!!

  • @frosty227 How could anyone not notice that

  • @frosty227 Hell yeah, I was thinking this can't be real. I'm no pro but my slice is 100x worse..and I thought I had a okay slic backhand until I watched this clip.

  • @frosty227 that was a banana slice

  • @frosty227 that was amazing o_O

  • @frosty227 Yeah! They had a slice rally for a bit there. They kept adding to how much spin the ball had xD

  • @frosty227 bizarre XD

  • @frosty227 yeah i did,thats crazy

  • @frosty227 yes amazing !

  • @frosty227 No, you were the only one

  • @frosty227 W T F : D

  • @frosty227 The only reason why this shot was so crazy is because FED sliced him in previous shot. :D

  • sounds like he put so much effort in the forehand at 0:23
