Your creativity and unique sound never ceases to amaze me. This track definitely reminds me of some mellow Weather Report songs...needless to say, I love it. Please continue with what you both are doing!
I Love everything Cole & Genevieve do, This Tim guy, killing the bass, funky. He is one of the best bass player I've seen, next to Flea from the Red Hot Chillie Peppers, Verdine White from my favorite group Earth Wine & Fire. Cole & Genevieve are a funky duo, Louis Cole is like a jackhammer on the drums, Man, and Artardi has a voice like and Angle
I so want to see this in a wide-screen frame. If you're ever in Seattle, I will be happy to shoot you! You can connect with me at Corlissmedia@gmail.com
I actually like this song alot. Genevieve opens up a bit emotionally. Also there are lyrics that I can relate to. I think it has something, that other their songs lack, like a personal touch. Other songs sound like they were written by a robot (and it's not a compliment!)
I find your stuff to be a bit hit and miss for me. But even the misses are still interesting and impressive as hell. Like this one, I will probably not come back and listen to again and like a lot of your music it's just not something I really want to take with me and jam out to. But that doesn't stop it from being fascinating and amazing and I think you guys are doing awesome work and please continue your aggressive exploration into your unique sound.
@thepeteris I'd say try taking out with you. Some music is like coffee. Noone is born with a taste for it, but once it's acquired it's hard to leave the stuff alone. I love this track :)
@thepeteris This is my feeling towards Louis and Genevieve as well. I can really appreciate their skill and musical talent, but their music generally lacks any type of hook. I think this is the reason my favorites of their work are their covers ET and Blow, because they have a much more coherent melody and catchy hook than most of their other stuff. I still love how avant garde they are, but there's generally just something missing.
really good. sounds like the song of an arts or literature major.

I dont know if you usually answer comments but how do you get that awesome colour effect you use on genevieve here?
BillyCrombie 1 month ago
@BillyCrombie I'm pretty sure they chroma keyed out the color black, and then put a video of tv static below the keyed-out footage.
