Is there any conflict between players besides the Ascension mechanic of sniping cards available for purchase before another player gets a turn? Or is everyone pretty much confined to their playspace?
Tom, Please do a show down between Core Worlds, Race for the Galaxy and Eminent Domaine. In general i think more vids comparing games that either are similar or look similar from their description/theme would be very useful.
What's the in-joke about the Origins Game of the Year award? :)

@JasonWRobinette:
Tom and I both don't think that the Origins Game Awards have any real credence whatsoever.

Sounds great. Gorgeous cards, too. Maybe it's a "card drafting" game instead of "deck building"? Very anxious to play this one.

Cover art reminds of the old PC game Homeworld.

@bigsky780 I think its an obvious nod to the game. Even the ships in the card art resemble Homeworld's a bit
