U dont have 2 do a system restore!! I Used Malawarebytes, i did a full scan then it scanned and found antivirus 2008, asked me if i wanted to delete it. Then it was gone! it happened 2 me be4, but i had another virus called virus heat. used the same program to get it off

Guys i just had this virus and it deleted all my documents, so if you get this save everything onto your usb or ipod or any other external hard drive as soon as possible. Ans to get rid of it all you need to do is get a program called malwarebytes it takes the virus of no sweat.

I had this problem so I went to the start up menu and clicked on help and support. I then clicked on Undo changes to your computer with System Restore and selected the date before the virus started. This seemed to work fine - let me know it it works for anyone else - good luck.

If you have the virus then system restore to the date before you had it, your computer should restart and work ok. Well that's what happened for me.
