Flair really should have retired from in-ring appearances after this. He would still have worth on TNA TV as an authority figure/manager/etc, but this would've been the perfect way to end things. He really brought it in this match, and Shawn Michaels gave him a hell of a fight. Plus, the ending was so emotional and perfect. One of the best 'Mania matches ever.

Awesome upload and awesome match. If only the crowd had been at an Attitude Era level this would have been epic. They are not bad for today's standards, but the whole thing just feels rather quiet, but maybe that's due to the "summer" setting and how huge the arena is.

The emotions that HBK shows in that ring are unmatched as far as I'm concern. You can not only see but feel that Shawn didn't want to do it. Phenomenal match overall. Shawn Michaels is and we'll always be my favorite wrestler!

This match really should've been the main event. After seeing Flair "retire" and put on a 5 star classic with HBK mixed with all those real-life emotions did anyone really care that much about what came after? This match was the highlight of the show and should've went on last. Every HBK wrestlemania match should go on last IMO.

I really wish Flair retired this night...not only because he is the best and has nothing left to prove...but to also spend time with his loved ones...hence his first divorce because spending to much time on the road.WWE did a nice go away for him,this night and the following raw brought me to tears,cause it was a great way to end a career.Than.......he goes to TNA....wtf?! Later on found out he needed the money...poor guy :( long live Ric!
