a proper car will spank a bike (stock or otherwise), but bikes are getting faster and faster (cars are too but at a slower rate). maybe someday bikes will be faster where it counts (race tracks).

NOTE: I'm only talking about factory race spec cars, 90% of cars you see day to day won't be able to keep up with crotchrockets.

Yeah I suppose you're right. I'm a huge biker myself, but car technology is older and bikes are relatively young. And there are just some things two wheels can't do that four can. Having said that, if someone offered me a Ferrari (or McLaren) or whatever, and a super fast race spec bike, I'd seriously keep the bike. I'm not a big car buff.
