Now the price is at least half that. My main thing for me to do the wiring was easiness and I wanted a new look to my interior. The rs dash is way to bland. lol
hey just wanted to ask you how did you get the turbo to be so loud? i have a K&N intake, stock up, down, midpipe and a vibrant catback and i can't hear the turbo spooling at all :( do you think a downpipe might help?
3" complete catless exhaust and an up pipe basically. Tiny turbo's are loud. I was a little upset when I put on the vf34 and I can barley hear it now. Oh well the power is worth it and will be better in a couple months when I build this sti block I got laying around.

It was 6k for absolutely everything off an 04 wrx but the shell and seats. From the same guy and my friend who did the same thing only in sti stuff was double that price.
I did everything myself. It was easier with the dash swap and gas tank swap so I didn't have to wire everything together. Just had to do the lights, door chord, roof chord and a that's basically it. If you can read a diagram and have basic wiring experience you'll be fine but if you don't it can take a very long time.

Yeah they are great cars. I swapped to a wrx engine. The stock 2.5L is pretty good, might run into a head gasket change depending if it was already done or not. Other then that they are great cars. My 2.0 going was due to shitty mobile 1 and an engine I got with 55k on it with no clue how it was driven. Runs really strong now.
Down time depends. If I really wanted to I could probably do it in a week if everything was fine. I took my time with it and my job I'd stay over extended periods of time so it went very slowly for me. I'm not sure about the speedo. Only difference I can think of is because it's drive by wire and yours was cable. Check out Rs25 there are tons of threads about this kind of thing.

When I got the wheel on there was 3 degrees positive camber. Got a new hub from the guy and it was fine. I love it.

Nice, I'll keep that in mind. I think my ecu is on the fritz though. Throwing a code for a coolant temp sensor, changed it and it's still doing it. The wires ohm out so there's no short. Might just have to pick up a new one. Right now takes forever to start and I get about 10 mpg.
