  • You need more stuff on that rifle.

  • I am starting my 10/22 build, could you recommend descent optics for under 100$ anything would be appreciated, thanks.

  • @hissingfetus you can only have one optic on an AR at a time. Why not put the one im not using on a different gun? I didn't buy the eotech for that gun specifically.

  • I'm sorry man but that is just overkill. $500 eotech on $200 rifle is kind of retarded.

  • how much did all that run for

  • But does it blend?

  • But does it blend?

  • what kit is that?i like it alott

  • Hi. Is it possible to take out the original archangel handguard and put in a real AR metal handguard?

  • @westerner1985 sadly... no. I truely wish they would make a kit that has a frame identical to the AR that way ALL parts can be interchangeable.

  • i think this is the nicest 10 22 ive seen greAT job man

  • @joaquindz thanks. much appreciated.

  • Nice 10/22. Dont let the haters get to ya!

  • @Mrplow530 Appreciated.

  • why do you have a front iron sight if you got a red dot on there?

  • $500 eotech on a $200 rifle....??...looks like a bit too much in add-ons...looks super bulky, heavy and not shooter friendly..im sure a completely stock 10 22 with regular iron sights is as accurate as yours...but its your money and your rifle..nice video explaining everything though..

  • sexiest 10/22 ive ever seen

  • Your attachments cost 10 times more than the original rifle......whoa....

  • Nice work.

  • Very nice! This has to be the best one i have seen!

  • So if i purchased the archangel kit i can use standard AR parts?

  • its crazy a 10/22 can be turned into that thing. its sick but damn son. i would have bought 1000's of 22 rounds& another 10/22. i might get one this fri & a different stock. good work man

  • unnecessarily badass

  • @wolfenfoust!! Your an idiot and obviously not a real shooter or someone who is just jealous!! This is actually a really good set up for someone who knows how to use it.. I am competition shooter of more than 15 years, a combat vet and us army armorer and can tell u probably one of the set ups I've seen without actually looking it over in Person.. Good job with the rifle.. Ignore the haters who don't have a real clue what they are talking about..

  • Does any of that actually make it shoot better?

  • @sethzky77 I doubt it. Makes it way heavier, using a 5.56 calibrated sight, a flash light.. what would that be used for.. shooting rats at the dump? A big bulky stock. A forward grip, because the muzzle climb on a 10/22 is killer, after all.

  • But it looks cool

  • The eotech sight alone cost the rifle and mods if its real

  • he doesnt buy a real AR becuase in most states its illigal to own an automatic weapon

  • @MirandaJedi AR's are not automatic weapons.

  • Hey man do the sights cowittness? I want to build an archangel with an a2 front sight and carry handle rear and I want to know if it is going to line up properly. Thanks man and awesome gun!

  • Don't listen to all the retards with thier negative comments , to each his own.....NICE GUN DUDE !!!!!!!!!!

  • Cleann gunn bruhh! I idol this gun!

  • lame extended mag release..go to cabellas and get a big one

  • Hey man, got another question for you. I want to cut off my Archangel fore-grip like I said before. Do you know any reason why the UAG AR15 AR-15 M4 CARBINE RIFLE QUAD 4-WEAVER/PICATINNY RAIL ALUMINUM HANDGUARD+ COVERS (it is on Amazon for a quick look up) rail system wouldn't work on the 10 22 if I attached it to the main body with a raised rail that would cover the top of the new rail system and attach on the back rail of the archangel much like how you attached your SIR system?

  • How did you attach the ARMS SIR system? Did you have to do anything special? I am confused as to how it attaches to the gun itself. The rail system on the original Archangel bugs me a little bit. It sags a little toward the end of the barrel. I want to cut it off too. Haha.

  • One Simple Word... Why?

  • @RustyGunsM10 coz it looks cool

  • does the gas block sight fit on stock barrel?

  • Kid crying in the background, and your making a video... great Father.

  • that just looks silly, might as well get an ar... oh and thats a nice stock i had one it was nice

  • the layman would not know this is even a 10/22...that thing looks sick...in more ways than one

  • Ok so you got bored and had some stupid money.

  • Ive never seen a bui front sight set up like that before does it work?

  • Comment removed

  • will that barrel connect to a normal 10/22 reciever?

  • Okay, thanks for the reply man! Sweet looking setup.

  • How much did just the stock, barrel (I love the m4 look) magpul grip, and hand rail system cost you?

  • @syxtnyne69 Stock is a CAA stock w/ cheek piece, $80? Barrel is a brownelles manufactured M4 style barrel .920 at the base and .700 at the muzzle, still acts as a bull barrel but with a cooler look. Brownelles $189? the magpul AFG is like $20? And they Rail system is an ARMS SIR system. Idk how much that is. But please keep in mind that most of these parts were going to be going an AR build that I was doing for a guy, but he bailed on it. Thanks.

  • Lotta dough into a 22 man, get into ARs and forget the bb gun!!! :D

  • @OICU81272 He mentions that he's got one like 5 times. If his 10/22 is this decked out, imagine the AR :)

  • @OICU81272 You can watch some of my other videos that have a couple of my AR's in them.

  • Hey looking to do some things to my Archangel kit as well, how can I get a hold of you for some questions?

  • @pspguru Sorry for the belated contact, my phone sometimes doesnt let me know when I get comments. Just PM me and let me know what you need.

  • I have a 17 hmr.... and im going to sell it to get a 10/22 for versitilty... it will pretty much be impossible to get the same accuracy as my 17 but what barrel do u reccomend for max accuracy

  • I think if you get shot with anything even a 22 u will be stopped in your tracks. No one likes getting shot.

  • what are your thoughts on using a 22lr for home defense? because thats what i bought my 10/22 for i live in a small town but we r having an increase in home invasions.

  • @Killadonez

A .22 lr is not going to have nearly as much stopping power as a pistol, carbine, shotgun, or rifle. If you've weighed the situation and you've decided to shoot to protect your life and the life of others, you shoot to kill. "Shooting to wound/disable" doesn't fly in the court room. That being said, Rule #1 of gun fighting is "Have a gun." A .22 can be used without much practice by just about anyone, and any gun is a deterrent. No one wants to get shot, even with a .22

  • @Killadonez My dad's friend had to use one for a man breaking in his home. The .22LR caliber is low pressure compared to other cartridges, therefore there is not much feedback to the stock which means ALOT less recoil. Therefore, more rounds on target with incredibly fast speed. Double tap with a .22LR turns into a Quintuple Tap, lol. As long as the guy's not wearing body armor, you'd be fine with a 10/22 for home defense. Just make sure you have it loaded with a 25+ round ruger/ butler mag.

  • sweet

  • will any Ar 6 position stock fit on the stock?

  • the command arms stock, does it fit as snuggly as the factory archangel stock?

  • very very nice brotha i just ordered the cheap ati fiberforce stock for my 10 22 just to be sort of different from other people. if you dont mind me askin how old you are? you say you have an ar so im guessin in 20's i've seen a lot of tactical style mods and i have to say your rifle is one of a kind congrats on your hard work mines wont be as intimidating as yours may be but it'd be somethin ill post up proudly after im done with it. hope youll like

  • KISS, keep it simple stupid

  • the best 10/22 ive ever seen. great job man.

  • half the fun is customizing a gun yourself so stop saying "well you could have got........ and just attatched.......... to a ........... " its just personal choice

  • too much shit

  • why not just buy a .22 cal ar15?

  • Could a harris bipod fit infront of that magpul afg?

  • nice job

  • you prolly could of saved money just buying a smith and wesson m&p 22 and putting the eotech and flashlight

  • @m0ssy0ak11 takes the fun out of it man

  • well i think its fuckin nice man. dont listen to these fuckin chairsofters lol. theyre probably hardcore airsofters(imnot saying i dont play that either)> the funny thing is the minute you get shot by ANY calibre it will change your life forever. i love the ppl that underestimate a .22 fuck an m4 is a .22 for the idiots outt here that dont seel to realise that.

  • when the zombie apocalypse goes down, the .22lr will be the weapon of choice. and for those dickheads out there who say the .22 has no power, the Israelis used suppressed 10/22's for short range sniper rifles. and if that isnt enough, i guess you wont mind taking one to the chest for me real quick.

  • Nice...

  • def looks cool but just feels overkill for a 10/22 haha still..fuckin cool looking

  • not bad for a 10/22 mod

  • You did a great job on your gun. Good Review !

  • nice 5lbs gun is now 10

  • @Ranger115gamer That actually brings a good point that I didnt go over. It only weighs 6 1/2lbs. But it looks like it would be more. Mostly just composite.

  • Bad ass ruger, that is about how i want mine to look like.

  • i think it's cool

  • Tacticool crap on a .22, dumb

  • @bmurray699 tactical crap sitting on my work bench, doing nothing. Even more dumb. Might as well do something with it.

  • @bmurray699 i prefer Tactifool, Tactifag, or my personal fav Tactitool. How does adding a shit ton of weight and optics that arent mounted to the actual gun make this tactical in any way? i guarantee this thing is slower to bring up, slower to aquire and heavier to lug around then a stock 10/22. I just fail to see the reasoning behind this junk pile.

  • @Duckyistrippin It weighs 6 1/2lbs. The primary reasoning behind the added "massive extra 1lbs" is due to the barrel being, at heart, a bull barrel, in replacement to the shitty stock barrel. Everything else is all composite. I can bring this gun up just as fast as my AR or hell, even my FAL. Its not about the weight that matters in maneuvering your weapon, its the exercise and knowledge behind your weapon that allows for better maneuvering.

  • @3mealsaday wow...your 10/22 handles as well as your FAL. geez, i guess i was all wrong. LOL. this things a turd, and 1lb heavier than a 10/22? did you forget to weigh the light, acog and whatever other junk is glued on there as well? Its afucking 22 dude. give it up. This thing is almost as gay as you are.

When was the last time you saw muzzle flash from a 22? i mean seriously. you fucking suck at life. Why dont you move out your parents house?

  • @Duckyistrippin Ok. Your like a 30 year old youtube troll, you have kids and your acting like that? Real mature big guy. You obviously dont know anything about weapons nor the parts that are on my weapon, so your making yourself look ignorant. EOTech 552XR308 = 11.6oz Surefire M961 = 10.4oz if you want to get technical on the weight of the parts.

  • @bmurray699 so make a video explaining to the world how it should be done oo wise one. what the fuck is tacticool when everyon eis different and has different POU's.

  • @STiNGFiST77 Apparently our troops, our special forces, and even police are just a bunch of "tacticool" fags. He probably just likes to still load his weapons with a rod, hammer, and wadding to go with his percussion cap guns. Drives him crazy that I fixed up a .22 shame on me...... lol

  • i got tht same trigger on my 10/22 $100 on amazon

  • @Killadonez Thats where I got mine. Its a good deal.

  • @3mealsaday timeny trigger is too easy, feels like cheating after rebuilding trigger groups, stoning and fitting new parts.

  • ''tactical'' 10/22, what a retarded idea

    TRAIN HOW YOU FIGHT

only a retard would fight with this

  • @MrDarkwolf1995 No, whats a retarded idea is that you say "TRAIN HOW YOU FIGHT" that might be true if I were actually training to kill, but I dont think that a .22 qualifies for that. Its a .22, a gun fun for shooting and thats about it. Do you go and call others on youtube retards for shooting their marlin 30-30's, or are they "training how they fight" with a marlin? lol. I fixed it up for something to do. I have fixed up AR's, AK's, FAL's, 700's, but im a retard for doing it to .22.

  • @3mealsaday I really hate those people who completely perverse otherwise great quotes. One of which is aim for the "center of mass". This meant the center of whatever part of the target is exposed, aka "aim small miss small". But now it stands for aim only at the chest, which is a completely different idea. Very nice work on that 10/22. Ignore the purists

  • @ELITEHAMSTER123 nice analogy. I was wondering if what I said made sense.

  • @MrDarkwolf1995 you really have no clue what your talking about do you. ruger 10-22 is a great traning firearm for people who dont want to wast there 5.56 ammo. hes not using it as a battle rifle his training with it to get better with his AR and to make awsome long range .22 vids. so sir if you dont have any clue what your talking about just dont post stupid comments. plus its a good self defence rifle agenst wild animals. last NEVER USE QUOTES YOU DONT KNOW HOW TO BACK UP.

  • Stock*

  • What brand of paint did you use? I want to paint my grip and butt stick tan.

  • @ghostreap I used some extra rattlecan that I got from brownelles. They have some designed for light use and wear. It works really well.

  • When you say trigger, is that the whole trigger group or just the trigger?

  • @MrRittman13 drop in unit. I wouldn't just change the trigger what purpose would that serve?lol

  • can i get an estimate on aprx total cost?

  • @charion08 Idk, its hard to range cause where I had originally bought stuff for my AR, I put parts on this. I would say close to a grand to be honest. (without the EOTech)

  • can you put an AR-15 buttstock on this?

  • @CWBoyyye Whats do you mean the buffer tube or the actual stock?

  • @3mealsaday i ment the buttstock

  • @CWBoyyye yeah you can. The kit actually came with one. But I just didnt like it.

  • @3mealsaday i ment the butt stock

  • do you know what size metal tube you used?how much weight did it add

  • @kayotikkombargear It didnt add much more weight if anything I think it kinda evened out the weight of the rifle cause the barrel was more front heavy and now its kinda balanced better. Off hand, no I dont remember the size piping I used. But I do remember that I got from it from my local hardware store so I know its easy to find.

  • does the archangel have a mill spec stock tube

  • @kayotikkombargear yeah it does, but its plastic through and through. I would be super careful with it, or you cane do what I did and get a piece of metal piping and run it through it.

  • need a vid of you shooting it XD

  • @jonboy318ownzatDO There is one.

  • You have one of the more uncommon front grips. How well does it handle?

  • @clarksvegaseast What do you mean? The magpul AFG or the ARM SIR system? Im confused.

  • @3mealsaday I'm referring to the ARM SIR.

  • @clarksvegaseast Oh I bought it a time ago for an AR build I started on, but hated the fact that it raised my flat top up about a half an inch. So I scrapped it into my "Drawer of random gun parts" Then when working on the 10/22 I remembered it. All in all, its an amazing handguard. Light, durable, ergonomic, and free floating, but the negatives are: Hate the fact it raises your flat top. Makes your the guard way to large around where its hard to reach flashlights or other things Hope that helps

  • Good looking build, nice work.

  • Beautiful gun, where did you buy the body ?

  • @HunterSurvivalist Brownelles. com

  • where did you get the for gaurd and how did you attacth it?

  • @coopercrockett96 Brownelles com its an A.R.M.S rail system and I attched it on the upper.

  • Any one else hear the baby getting toutured in the backround?!?!?

  • @MrClaysta More like, "anyone else hear the baby not getting her way in the background." lol

  • That archangel front piece is shit on mine it doesn't even line up with the other rail :(

  • @Scottypowpow mine didnt either.

  • Wow, well good for you man. I think I'm going to do something similar, but not as much shit...lol

  • Sweet. Great gun, ruger 10/22. BUT what I would have done, instead of spending a shit load of cash on a overly tactical 10/22, and just bought an M1A

  • @C172Pilotdude I have one. I just wanted to do it. Not for anything particular, but just because I could.

  • Tell me more about the forend, please. How did you get it to mount to the Archangel kit after cutting the old one off. I would really like to do this myself, but, never owning/disassembling a real AR, I have no idea what I'm looking at. If you can even tell me what model would work to take the guess work out of it for me I'd appreciate it. I just don't like the style of the forend section on my Archangel kit. Great looking gun.

  • @spibiggie The way I have this mounted is completely free floating. The rail system itself is mounts onto the the upper flat top on the upper receiver. There is a couple of brand I can think of who makes these types of rail systems. ARMS S.I.R, Vltor Mcasv, Troy. But since this is just a .22 you dont need heavy duty parts like for an AR, you can order a rail system off an airsoft website that is the same style as those and it will work just fine. Not on this one, but another one I did that too.

  • @spibiggie Its not like you going to be putting it through heat and stress. Its a .22.... lol. But basically the rail mounts on the top of the receiver. If you know your never going to use the old rail system again, then you should cut the main end piece off with a hacksaw, just to still give it the effect of a delta ring. Dont feel bad about buying something airsoft for a .22. The only reason I decided to put this thing on the .22 is because it was once on my AR. Thanks for watching.

  • @3mealsaday hey can you give me a link to that barrel?

  • you say it like "ark" not "arch" just sayin'

  • thats the sickest 10 22 i've seen.

  • Fix a bayonet to it and your ready for a zombie squirrel uprising lol

  • ya I saw that vid. nice shooting. Just wanted to make correction on my comment. If I'm correct that brownell barrel is 1/14 right twist.. humm. I know on a regular AR 1/18 twist is better than 1/16 especially heavier bullet. I wonder how twist difference is on 22lr bullet will affect accuracy. Anyways, looking forward to your review.

  • @mooserak On a regular AR the standard M4 barrel is 1/9:ratio. This has a lot more twist ratio, which makes it extremely more accurate. I will show in my video the differences. The only thing negative about that barrel is the weight. It weighs as much as a standard nato barrel.

  • How about a review on that AR style barrel. I cant seem to find any info/review on it on googl nor youtube. I see that on brownell website it is 1/18 twist.. does it shoot more accurate than the normal 1/16 twist barrel?

  • @mooserak Great idea. Give me about a week, but I will do it. It is a lot more accurate. The video of me shooting at 350yds is with this barrel. My friend had his ruger with stock barrel on it and couldn't hit shit.

  • I like it I need to post my newly kitted 10/22!

  • This travels 400 yards wtf skills looks nice to im in the UK so wouldnt be able to buy all this crap for it if I bought the gun but am tempted after how cool this looks

  • Pointless and makes it look dumb, why didnt u buy something a bit more mean?

  • @jjferkatch I just put it on there because my Aimpoint was on the AR. and the EOTech was looking lonely without a gun to be mounted on. So I did it a favor.

  • The only thing that kills it is the skinny .22 cal mag.. such a let down..

  • @Nikolas81496 I know, I hate almost every mag for the 10/22. The only one that actually looks decent is the black dog drum mags, but no one ever has them in stock.

  • Is that an interchangeable grip? I thought you couldn't change the grips on the Archangel kit?

  • @spibiggie No its the same. Your right you cannot change the grip on the Archangel, but I did paint around it. I little bit of masking tape before I started the Dura did the trick. Good eye.

  • @3mealsaday Looks good. Nice job. I'm gonna have to copy you I'm afraid.

  • i am really impressed with your 22. your the only one i believe who knows what hes doing. also your shooting is great. on my next set of days off ill break down and post avid of my 10/22. if you come acroosed it tell me what you think. thanks for sharing your vid.

  • @starbike200 thanks, but Im sure there is plenty of others out there who know a little bit about .22's...hopefully.. But I most definitely will check out your vid when you get it up and posted. Send me a message when you do and I will have a look.

  • one of the sexiest ive seen so far. very nice.

  • @158057 Thanks man.

  • Hello. Sorry, my english is not so good! I'm from Paraguay South America. I like your weapon. And I am very interested in buying the accessories that you have for your 10/22, but its very dificul for my because I dont now all the detail, etc! So I ask if you want to sell yours, or if you kan get all the accessories for me or help me to get it ?

Sorry for this stupid request, but I need your help please!!

    Thaks

  • how did you get the stock on their? i recently bought an archangel kit for my 10/22, but the guy i bought it from sold me the charger (pistol) version... (bastard)... so now im stuck with it. so i can make it work, i just need a stock. any tips, tricks or insight? thanks alot

  • @VasilyZaitsev8 You can always call archangel and order that lower part individually, or... which, I have personally only done this to one rifle that was built on a Archangel charger kit. A guy in the same situation as you wanted that and the only thing I could think of was to mount an Airsoft buffer tube on it. He ordered one from somewhere and we drilled our a hole in the lower receiver then bolted it on. Works great to this day. But I would still go with my first suggestion.

  • @VasilyZaitsev8 you dumbass you should read descriptions more! thats my tip:)

  • Very nice components... 400-650yd?! How much drop do you have at that range and at what range is it zero'd? If you can hit a man size target at 650 yds with a .22 LR, I'm going out and buying one tomorrow :-)

  • @RebelSapper yeah that yardage was off horribly. lol. bad range finding scope. But you can reach out 650 yds with a .22lr. Since the video I have actually went out and shot at 600yds and it took the bullet about 3-4 seconds before getting there and it wasnt even denting the piece of metal we were using. You would be better off to get in your truck, drive there, and punch the guy in the face to inflict more damage. The BDC we were using was almost 25 feet of drop.

  • How do you like the CAA stock?

  • @KagarBeardtooth I like it a lot. Especially with the cheek piece with it. The only thing I have negative to say about it is that it is heavy as hell. It weighs about double that of a standard M4 style stock. Its heavy for a stock.

  • I have been interested in buying my first gun and the 10/22 ruger has peeked my intrest in availibility and affordability. I would love to know how to customize one to make it like yours. Admittidly I don't know too much about guns or the mechanics of them so I didn't want to just hop in blind and shoot myself in the foot or something.

  • @templar828 its not hard man thats one of the wonderful things about rugers if you dont know what kind of rifle your looking for id say definitely the ruger 10/22 reasons its cheap cheap to shoot fun and if you want it to look a certain way theres a numerous amout of ways to customize it the only way you can really mess it up when customizing this rifle is if you start to tinker with the internals but with some common sense you can fix it

  • @Forbidenangel0 Agreed. 10/22's can be anything you want them to be. And not to mention that they are extremely reliable. This particular 10/22 has not been cleaned in over 6 months and has had thousands of rounds put through and still works great. (reoiled every so often though) I dont know too many other .22's that can have almost 6000 rds put through it and still be working great. I wonder how many more rounds it will take before it finally starts jamming with FTE and FTF.

  • @3mealsaday haha nice hey did you ever get that suppressor man

  • @Forbidenangel0 No haven't really had the time. I just got a second job and its been taking up so much time. I live in the middle of the woods and its been almost a week since I have shot. Its a sad story here. lol. But I would still really love one. I might look into it when time is on my side.

  • Awesome Rifle!!!!!!!!! Love it!

  • Looks great, thanks for making the video
