@BlueRogue6 Uh-oh that was a close one! I was about to click "block". lol! ;o) yeah just ask Kevie and she'll tell you what a horrible person I am. ;o)
I give my Boxxy a bath about one time a week, and finally, thank god, she didn't hate the leash anymore for some reason yesterday night. So I was finally able to take her out for a walk..
Do you have to bath them a lot as pets......... I know wild foxes have a very strong cent and you can smell it when they have visited our yard during the night.
btw, SpiritWhiteFox2 I really like this video. I'm gonna feature it in my favorites box so other people can see it too and appreciate how wonderful your foxes are - they are lucky to have you. I can see you really take good care of them.
@73thevixen No, what's bull shit is that you're too ignorant to read the profile page before posting your ridiculous troll drivel on my video! Oh and have a Merry Christmas! :o)
@Jefefro123 I don't know what the situation is in other countries but here in the U.S. foxes have plenty natural enemies to keep the numbers down. In my humble opinion they don't need humans to do it for them.
@SpiritWhiteFox2 I WANNA FREAKING FOX!!!!!! too bad california has too many FREAKING laws bout STUFF!!!!!! IF you know japanese you'd see how much im obsessed about foxes by my user. it means " cute cue fox! I WUVVVVVVV FOXES THEY ARE MY ALL TIME FAVORITE ANIMAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@timmyjunior1 I dont know where you live, but i live in kentucky we have very few foxes here. If you have too many foxes where you live, send them to kentucky. I for one would be happy to see them.
@greytimberwolfpup I really doubt that they are a stated endangered species, if they are then they are illegal to hunt. We can not legally hunt things that are endangered. If they are not a state endangered species then the reason for that is population control, there are limits to how many you can hunt.
@timmyjunior1 I dont know if there endangered here, there are very few though. as for hunting, As far as I know foxes are not eatable. So killing one would be a waste.
@greytimberwolfpup They are not edible?! You can eat any animal if it is not poisonous, and I mean poisonous not venomous. Also eating isn't the point of fox hunting, it is population control.
@SpiritWhiteFox2 So its ok for other animals kill and eat foxes but if humans try to control then its wrong? Don't say its is more painful, I would rather be shot than eaten.
@timmyjunior1 I didn't say anything about more painful, I think you must be reading someone else's post and if you'd rather get shot than go ahead and get shot. I doubt anybody would want to eat you anyway.
@timmyjunior1 Simply stating a fact that foxes have plenty natural enemies to control their population, I don't believe they need humans to do it for them. If you want reality, the truth is that more foxes are trapped in conibears here in North America because by shooting them would risk damaging their pelt. So you want to talk about a slow & painful death?
@timmyjunior1 Why don't you do some research and see how foxes have to suffer with their leg caught in a conibear for hours upon hours until the trapper decides to check his traps. See how the bone is sticking out from the fox flailing, trying to get free! Then the fox is bashed in the head until it's dead to risk damaging the pelt. How can you sit there and tell me that the fox doesn't suffer?
@timmyjunior1 What?? Srsly? So you'd rather be hours and possibly days your leg stuck in a large metal conibear trying to get free and just causing your flesh and skin to rip apart, lots of blood and bone sticking out till some hairy guy comes and smashes your head untill you're dead rather than simply have a quick death by some other animal?
@mestarilapsi Haha, redneck?! I don't think so. Also to answer your question no, I would rather be shot. I'm not against or for the trapping of animals but am for hunting and against animal abuse.
@timmyjunior1 But being shot is not a choice. Let's imagine a hunter that doesn't give a shit about the way you, the fox, die. Some fat rich dude comes at him and says that he would pay well for a fox fur so the hunter doesn't take his rifle because he's afraid that he'd harm the pelt and he takes conibears instead. You get caught in and you suffer great pain for days because the hunter forgets to check his traps. When he finally comes, he smashes your head till you die. Sounds fun, doesn't it?
@timmyjunior1 Haha - yea right (I mean that facetiously). Deep down you really believe that? In your next life are you trying to come back as a fox that gets hunted? Wouldn't that be epic.
Can you walk with them in a park or something? Or does other humans or cars scare them? Or can you walk with them in the forest? Im just curious, and im thinking about getting a pet fox myself when i get older =D Theyre so awesome and cute! :3 And i dont want them end up as fur on a fur farm =(
No matter how domesticated foxes are, they still maintain a portion of their wild instincts. Each fox is different so the level of wild instinct varies from fox to fox. Both Bridgette & Kevie are extremely shy around strangers as they weren't raised in the public eye.
My freind raised a fox and let it roam at large on his property. Since it was raised around chickens and ducks it never attacked or bothered them. It was a nice pet he said. He never kept it in the house or on a leash. It just stayed near the house with the dogs. Foxes are lovely. Spirit- I love that whire fox! What kind of fox is it anyway?
The girls wear a collar permanently but when we're out walking, they wear a harness. The extension is just a basic coupler that hooks to both collar and harness.
Your a horrible person for loving animals and you should feel bad!...
...nope, couldn't keep a straight face. Keep up the good work!
