I give my Boxxy a bath about one time a week, and finally, thank god, she didn't hate the leash anymore for some reason yesterday night. So I was finally able to take her out for a walk..

Do you have to bath them a lot as pets......... I know wild foxes have a very strong cent and you can smell it when they have visited our yard during the night.

@timmyjunior1 I dont know where you live, but i live in kentucky we have very few foxes here. If you have too many foxes where you live,send them to kentucky. I for one would be happy to see them.

@greytimberwolfpup I really doubt that they are a stated endangered species, if they are then they are illegal to hunt. We can not legally hunt things that are endangered. If they are not a state endangered species then the reason for that is population control, there are limits to how many you can hunt.

See how the bone is sticking out from the fox flailing, trying to get free! Then the fox is bashed in the head until it's dead to risk damaging the pelt. How can you sit there and tell me that the fox doesn't suffer?

Some fat rich dude comes at him and says that he would pay well for a fox fur so the hunter doesn't take his rifle because he's afraid that he'd harm the pelt and he takes conibears instead. You get caught in and you suffer great pain for days because the hunter forgets to check his traps. When he finally comes, he smashes your head till you die. Sounds fun, doesn't it?

Can you walk with them in a park or something? Or does other humans or cars scare them? Or can you walk with them in the forest? Im just curious, and im thinking about getting a pet fox myself when i get older =D Theyre so awesome and cute! :3 And i dont want them end up as fur on a fur farm =(

No matter how domesticated foxes are, they still maintain a portion of their wild instincts. Each fox is different so the level of wild instinct varies from fox to fox. Both Bridgette & Kevie are extremely shy around strangers as they weren't raised in the public eye.

My freind raised a fox and let it roam at large on his property. Since it was raised around chickens and ducks it never attacked or bothered them. It was a nice pet he said. He never kept it in the house or on a leash. It just stayed near the house with the dogs. Foxes are lovely. Spirit- I love that whire fox! What kind of fox is it anyway?

The girls wear a collar permanently but when we're out walking, they wear a harness. The extension is just a basic coupler that hooks to both collar and harness.
