i have to say that..language is universal...it doesn't matter if we cannot do it perfectly..as long as people understand of what we're saying...it's okay then..and i do remember of our (siti and me) idol - Celine Dion... She is a french canadian and she started to learn english when she decides to enter the american music industry, and at her first english interview, she was also struggle of speaking in english..but she did it well becoz people always support her..
She answered a few questions wrongly .. or perhaps not answering the question .. esp the part on expressing emotions thru music ... But the think about DCT .. she is very brave to come forward on an english show...!! I like her spirit!
@korlesma Theres a wrong-right answer in a chat interview ? Like this one ? We certainly dont detect any rigidity in the questions that requires answers to be factual or right/wrong. Its a chat really :D
@tigadara3 i am not saying you cant have a wrong or right answer.. but not answering the question is a totally different issue for an interview. There is a communication barrier which she needs to break .. I am glad the host did not further questioned her - there are interviewers who would want to have an answer for their interviews and there may redirect her to the same question by other means. I am not bashing her - i am quoting this from a communication module i learnt in skool - i am her fan

Walaupun aku tak minat CT, tp nampak disitu usaha dia nak cakap. Memang mula-mula agak susah dan malu, tp, klu kita cuba ckap, walaupun gagap sikit, lama-lama pandailah. Ramai lagi rakyat M'sia mcm tu, even aku yg faham English, dr segi menulis, membaca, listen pada org yg speaking, tp aku sendiri agak susah untuk bertutur dlm English. Now, I'm still learning to be greatest!

I got same level like dato siti in spm result for english. Damn proud of her rite now. She can speak very well.. Im not so good in writting but quiet well for spoken bcoz my job as grooming consultant needs me to use english when im talking to my cust.. Dato siti will be well spoken in english one day. Thats for sure. Just give her a bit of time..
The fact that she knew its gonna be tough and still she's on the show with english speaking people and with the modest english she had on that time can you see how down to earth DCT is? amaze me

dan next time mgkn blh dibuat sedikit pembaikan dlm talkshow tu khasnya utk org spt dato' siti, x slh sekiranya soalan/jwpn nya di skripkan sedikit supaya org yg di interview lebih bersedia. maklumlah rancangan tu utk broadcast kat tv, dan org spt dato' siti pun bkn lah calang2 org wpun dia mcm tu. mgkn dgn cara tu blh membantu menjaga hati peminat2 dan kredibiliti dia sbg artis yg sgt dikenali.
tak semua org memiliki kebolehan yg sama utk acquire bahasa kedua dgn baik, especially bila umur dah meningkat. wpun kita nmpk ada org lain yg boleh menguasai bahasa kedua dari segi penulisan/percakapan tak semestinya perkara tu mudah bg org lain. sbb tu sy bangga dgn dato' siti, sbb wpun dia tau dia takde kebolehan tu dia tak takut utk appear dlm talkshow ni.

honestly,im really proud of her,although she cant speak english really well,but at least she got the guts to appear live on National tv...english is all about practice,just keep practicing and communicating in english.A lot of people can write in a perfect english but its hard for some of them to communicate using the language.keep on learning :D

and now..u can see where celine is...she is the legend worldwide...and celine still have the accent of french when she speaks in english...no need to go for the american or british accent...bcoz we came from different roots... and 1 more thing..for the people who in the process of learning to speak in english, dont think about the grammar...just deliver the words that u want people to understand...=)

i have to say that..language is universal...it doesn't matter if we cannot do it perfectly..as long as people understand of what we're saying...it's okay then..and i do remember of our (siti and me) idol - Celine Dion... She is a french canadian and she started to learn english when she decides to enter the american music industry, and at her first english interview, she was also struggle of speaking in english..but she did it well becoz people always support her..

There is a communication barrier which she needs to break .. I am glad the host did not further questioned her - there are interviewers who would want to have an answer for their interviews and there may redirect her to the same question by other means. I am not bashing her - i am quoting this from a communication module i learnt in skool - i am her fan

I got same level like dato siti in spm result for english. Damn proud of her rite now. She can speak very well.. Im not so good in writting but quiet well for spoken bcoz my job as grooming consultant needs me to use english when im talking to my cust.. Dato siti will be well spoken in english one day.
