Kinda pushing the limits their at 3:05, in a sim you can take it as low as you want, but since the simulator does't accurately depict fluid dynamics, in real life, the lowest it could have went doing the high speed pass would have been at 2:54.
Questions: You didn't use a one-throttle quadrant right? I saw when you accelerated, that the thrust levers were disagreeing. Is that correct? If yes, how did you set it up. I can do it, but once i give some throttle, it stops at 60%, and never goes down again. Maybe I need to calibrate it. xD
I suppose you didn't have default trim setting right? 4.5 is default. If you changed, and believe me, I've read the manual. Just, where is the trim lever!! :P xD
Yes, I use the CH throttle quadrant. What you see in the movie is recorded data using FSRecorer Module. While flying I record the flight with that program. Then I play it back again with FSRecorder.
The data recorded has 1/8 of interval, so the motion of the throttle is a bit sluggish.
When playback the flight, it's not necessary to set up the trim. I did it obviously in the original flight. In the 747-400 there is no trim wheel.
But I can't get it to work in the game correctly, but I will try again. xD
As the trim wheel, that will still puzzle me. :(
I know (now) that there is no trim wheel. But the fact is that every time I'm on approach and set flaps 30, my nose drops down when I start to bank, even if it's just 5 degrees! :(
It has not a trim wheel but you control de trim using a 2-way buton on the left side of the yoke, like most of the airliners (you know that of course).
Probably your 747 is not very well trimmed, during the turn.
wtf sound !

It's RIAT Fairford Scenery from Visualflight studios. It was made for fs2002 but works on fs2004.

Very nice video! 5 stars! But i think un such a low overflight over the runway you have to set the flaps to 20°!
BUt still very nice!

Oh well, you're a better pilot than me probably.
