Well, you stated the problem. You have a fear of falling and that occupies your mind more than you wanting to get better at skating. But that's fixable if you want to fix it. Skating is 90% balance, 10% tricks or skill. Have MUST feel comfortable and in control on the skates. Become one with the skates, lol! But no, you have to spend time on them. Go skating on nights that aren't as busy, hit a park if you can. I love skating, great exercise and very relaxing... Best of luck!
