I remember a TV spot where it was the actual full-length trailer set to Signal Fire. No f**king joke. It ran on TNT when Spider-Man 1 was on to promote Spider-Man 3. When I heard it and saw the clips I was like "I'm sold." I wish I could find it now as it's almost like it doesn't exist it's been so hard to find. I also remember a full-length trailer for SMII set to "Vindicated" that I can't find either (that also aired on TNT).

Second don't go so far to say that this movie "Ruined your favorite superhero" because thats a bunch of bull. Maybe it didnt meet the expectation that people had going into it, but this movie surely didnt ruin Spiderman as he is still one of the top 3 characters in North america and around the world.
