  • nice video ..i like

  • @LucianoBolognesi1957 Thank you v ery much Luciano! Been too long since we heard from you.Come by more often, buddy!

  • YES SIR!

  • @Followingfist *salutes you*.You are always welcome, always an inspiration, always hearkened to on any of the 9 Channels in my ATACX GYM NETWORK,sir.

  • From my understanding, Japanese Jujitsu came from Chin Na, which uses everything, including strikes. So many people actually have the wrong idea of what Jujitsu actually is, or used to be. But great video my brother!

  • very effective styles

  • @AKKERMANodess Thank you very much my friend! I really appreciate your keen eye for effectiveness and your comments.

  • BEAUTIFUL my brother!! That's how a Kenpo man fights--using ATTRIBUTES learned through the techniques, not using the techniques as the almighty law. You are capturing the essence of what I believe to be true Kenpo-the ability to apply the "Law of the Fist" in combat as it was meant to be done--destroy the opponent's ability to overcome you. I guarantee that 100 years ago, a Kenpo man didn't have "Alternating Maces" to fight with--but had the attributes of that technique, & could kill with it.

  • @SenseiGerryValido Thank you very much, sensei! Your perceptive analysis and keen observation denoted exactly what I was hoping to achieve: when you reach a particular level of understanding in any art? You express that art proficiently in any situation; combative or not.You LIVE your art.You ARE your art.Thank you so very much for your comment,my Kenpo brother!

  • Keep up the good videos ..

  • @Texasblogger30 thank you thank you soooo much my friend!

  • vary nice stance keep it up keep strong

  • @23dogsareme23 thank you so very much! In my opinion, not enough of us martial artists pay sufficient attention to our stances and transitioning fluidly from one to another regardless of the scenario.I combined this fluidity of movement with a Tiger Claw that is highly effective and in my opinion highly underused, and we have a tremendously powerful and surprising attack that most people aren't at all prepared to defend, much less foresee.

  • great video!! my friend does kempo and ju jitsu very effective styles!

  • @KoshinageKoteagashi Thank you very very much! I am going to put up a few hundred more videos like this and even show more real sparring while employing wristlocks.Look out for them and comment, please! The style I use is a hybrid that basically compels proficiency by using the primary "what-if" scenarios as the basis for testing out each and every technique that I use.My base arts are boxing and kenpo, but I hold rank in other arts too like judo tkd tsd bjj train wrestling,MT,gungfu, hapkido, etc

  • Great video, its not jujitsu, its Kenpo, so true. The moves are all in the Kata's and drills, one only needs to see what's been there all the time. Thanks for sharing, and keep them coming.

  • @pelypel Absolutely correct,a sharp and aware observation, pelypel. The moves that I executed are all in the katas and drills.Thank you very much for the supporting comments! I really appreciate that because sometimes some of my fellow kenpoists misunderstand my aim.I get alot more supportive commentary of late than "hater-mail".

  • I wish my son could train with you. Very useful stuff here...not just theory, but stuff that has a place in real life. Well done! Continued success.

  • @ricks1019 I'd love to train your son! Btw do you know that I can and will make DVDs that are specific to your needs upon request and I will also answer via video any question about techniques, drills, concepts, exercises,or whatever you would like? If you or anyone comes to my channel? I'll answer whatever question that they ask.But you only get a limited amount of free questions because I have quite a few people emailing me and shooting me messages on a daily basis.Okay?

  • This is a very interesting and informative video. Usually, when an opponent achieved a full mount, it is close to impossible to escape, yet your techniques provided for a more effective style to neutralize such a disadvantageous position and mount an offense. Well done!

  • @riceburner888 Thank you my brutha! you have a keen eye and I very much appreciate your perspective. Please comment us more frequently! We have lots more stuff coming...

  • good video, nice one.

  • hey buddy cool video, plus cool channel too!!

  • @leonshayne Hey leonshayne! Thank you my brother for commenting and coming by! You are ALWAYS WELCOME and please frequent us a bit more. There's alot more coming--aikido,capoeira,Muay Thai,Chuan Fa kungfu (brown belt in that),Judo, wrestling, bjj, boxing, hapkido, tang soo do,taekwondo, weapons from firearms to sticks and knives, athletic training, workouts, drills solo and partner, plyometrics, combat gymnastics, lots more--that I hope you will like! Stay tuned!

  • @ATACXGYM wow bro just asking how the hell u get to learn soo much martial arts and manage to balance it with studies at the same time?i could hardly even learn 1 coz my parents dont allow me scared that i will be injured in MA classes haha. damn lol much respect to ya bro, btw just asking since u lean alot of MA which MA is the "best" and ur favourite, so far?like which is the most effective, thx man u rock

  • 4:09 to 4:30 that is the three points of contact that I talked to you about. Knee, wrist lock and vertical smash to the face. BAM!

Slipping that right arm between you and his leg, very good Ras, Position Recognition in action.

    Peace,

    Clark

  • @kenpoteacher Hey Clark! I always appreciate your keen eye and the fact that you are able to stretch beyond the too narrow boundaries that too many of our fellow Kenpoists hew to almost slavishly.I am receiving exoriating commentary from both kenpoists and grapplers...and many more messages of support like yours.Thank you my brother Clark!

  • I like this video, because it reminds people that an open mind can accomplish many things. I have NEVER seen amyone use this technique this way. But it is clearly workable. Forget Jeff Speakman and his Kenpo 5.0 ( shameless MMA rip-off) Atacx keeps it Kenpo and makes it applicable to real situations and responses. Now can a brother get a witness? This video is all of that, two Pixie sticks and a bag of skittles

  • @kenpoOG You got a witness right here,my brutha!! There is SOOO MUCH that we can accomplish if we keep our minds open, focus on innovation and practical performance, and realize that we don't have to bite another style to adapt our style.Study,be respectful of,and learn other methods that help us to excel? Of course. But wholesale sell out? No.Bruce popularized but didn't originate the idea of absorbing what is useful and adding your own unique flava, and we try to do that.

  • Sorry for two comments. The dance of death, now that's pretty cool, I'm diggin that! I have the students stomp anything that is on the ground in order to bust or maim that body part so they can't use it. I really enjoyed this video, and without a doubt you are giving me more ideas to add to my little bag of tricks. This is what is so cool about this networking we got going on. Your video in a nutshell - OUTSTANDING. I enjoyed it thoroughly. I hope this comment makes it on your page :-)

  • @houseofthetruewayma My brutha I truly enjoy your commentary so leave as many comments as you see fit! As I stated earlier, your comments spark ideas in my mind and help to reenforce the reality that people like you and I and the wonderful folks who comment our videos are NOT alone; we're just few and far between. And yeah the DANCE OF DEATH is NASTY,man.I will be putting up a video of my variant of this Kenpo technique soon.Probably this month.

  • You better believe our roots go back! Kempo practitioners have forgotten that you must cover all ranges of fighting to prevail. I am completely in agreeance with you. Not only that, you and I know that if you do all ranges it will only reinforce and help you understand the others in a much deeper fashion. You can do on the ground what you do standing, and what you do standing you can do on the ground. The only difference is the "hip work" opposed to the "foot work". out of characters....

  • @houseofthetruewayma Preaching to the choir brother, and preach on! Too many of us don't foment fully functional skill from armed to the ground to escape to multifights to rescue and rescue and escape, being completely unaware of the synergistic magnification of our combat skills and general understanding that such a pursuit mandates.I watch your excellent videos and ideas spark in my mind.I'm so glad to find likeminded individuals man because I am frequently excoriated for proposing the obvious.

  • i hate traditional martial arts, i do semi pro MMA and i do security on nightclubs tradition doesnt work, but i find your videos practical for real life and not some bullshit with a man chopping a block of wood keep it up thanks man

  • @liamfrantic Thank you liam! I appreciate your perspective as a person on the front line working nightclub security (more difficult and dangerous than many people realize man; you have my respect) and semi-pro MMA is no joke! What state are you in,man?

  • @ATACXGYM im in england lol manchester to be exact do a lot of boxing, thai boxing and wrestling always good to see shit that actually works in a simple and friendly format

  • Great video :D and I would love to see you and Mauro training together..

  • @PathOfEnlightenment So would I! That would be fun my darling! Mauro is a terrific martial artist with tremendous athleticism.

  • i like your new video mate!!i like the grappling a lot!!!i think it svery important to be able to deal with somebody when u r on the floor!!!i hope one day we can meet and train 2gether!!!

    regards Mauro
