the irish were good only 13 years ago when holtz was still there coach. i feel sorry for all the people that dont get the same feeling i do about the irish. the feeling i get when i look at the golden dome, touchdown jesus, the shine of the golden helmets on game day. i feel sorry for all the people that dont feel the magic of notre dame, the nostalgia. i feel sorry for all you haters. and i dont want you to feel sorry for me. because i love notre dame and am proud to call myself an irish fan.

Why? Calvin MaGee has been his headman for years at WVU, and Scott shafer is a much better d-coordinator then Ron English. I love RR and his new coaching staff...especially Mike barwis, who is whiping all of Michigans players into great shape.
Also, consdiering how well the Wolverines ran the spread agaisnt Florida, they will ahve little trouble adapting to RR's spread offense.
At the very elast, Michigan will crush Notre dame...again.

PooleDan your clueless. michigan is in a rebuilding year of 5-7. nd should beat them this year although i dont believe they will blow them out. the extremely young michigan team with a freshman qb will not be able to cruise in nd stadium where the young irish will feel poised and confident that michigan should be a game they win. it will take rodriquez 3 seasons for michigan to become a bowl team. and his new offense will not yet be installed.
