Fortunately for me, daytime was just about to begin so the eye disappeared shortly afterwards.

@Ultrapyre if the players choice of an ocena boss called Cthuhlu goes through, that might jsut be it lol. But guessing by the fact that theres a Cthuhlu's eye, you'd have to kill that first before fighting Cthuhlu himself. He'd be a pretty epic boss to fight with other players :D

Now to add my little story. I remember back in the Version 1.1 days I think, playing around and exploring when suddenly the chatbox said 'You feel an evil presence watching you'. Didn't know what was going on, thinking the next night would just bring more of the little eyeball enemies... Until this music kicked in... That was probably the best experience I had for a long time back then, trying to battle EOC with my shitty Iron Bow and Sword in my shitty village (and dying).

I made the mistake of attempting to fight the Eye of Cthulhu without stocking up on potions and whatnot and didn't have a very good weapon. I was using a Silver Sword. And I had a magic boomerang. I did a decent amount of damage, but he still managed to fuck my day up. Luckily, I was fighting it outside of my house, so as soon as I spawned, I just went outside and grabbed my dropped items.

@jacobgamer99 I already found a good tactic for killing him and he's pretty easy now. I mostly use magic items to fight him, though... oh, and arrows. Lots of arrows. And I usually fight him on top of my house so I have enough room to move around.
