I agree with your analysis on why Judas was mad about the perfume incident. Too many people (including my childhood church) quote Judas' statement about feeding the poor like Jesus himself said it. To balance that out, Jesus rebuked Judas by saying that "the poor you will always have with you, but I will not always be with you." (naturally He meant in the physical sense).

But now He is not here. Now is the time to serve Him by serving others.

Also, notice that the Bible mentions Judas' motive for what he said. It is my beliefe that this is done because it was the motive and priorities, not the words, which were corrupt. Ordinarily, we should do all within our means to help the poor.

But he didn't. He corrected her in mercy and love and build her up. Judgment passed by her because of the Mercy that's in Jesus. Well, I am a Christian and have gone on several mission trips and counseled church camps for kids, just so you know. Jesus would look like Bin Laden than this. That is not insulting the appearance, just stating the obvious contradiction to the Bible. I have watched this video has been shown to a lot of kids and none of them have had their "mind's opened".
