@Stormiya Hey, since you seem to be a big Nikki McKibbin fan, I have a question about the judge's comments towards her on this performance, and I'm the only one. To me, her top 4 performances were the best of that night, and also her best in the entire season, but I never got to hear what the judges had said. Could you fill me in? :P

@jojo145945 Sure thing. for "Mary Jane" Randy said it was better then the weeks before but he thought it was just okay. (He then got boo'd) Paula said Nikki found her comfort zone. Simon said it was fantastic and exactly what she was all about and that Randy should wash his ears out for saying it was only okay. I will put the comments for "I'm the Only One" in a second post

Paula said tonight was her magic moment and Simon said after the nightmare of last week she had absolutely proven to herself and to the audience that she deserved to be in the compeition I had to double check on DVD's but that is the gist of what they say! I think top 4 was her best night as well. "Mary Jane" is my favorite <3

@Stormiya Yes, Mary Jane is my favorite as well! I feel that she was severely underrated because of the whole "Tamyra gray leaving early" thing. But, yeah, Mary Jane to me was an excellent song choice for her because I feel like she could truly connect to it. Especially because of what happened to her in her years after idol.

I just wanted to hear her sing because I've never heard of her until I saw her on "Celebrity Rehab" and theh first thing I said when I played this song was "WOW, she's way off key". I had to turn the video off because it was so painful. How anyone can ignore that, is beyond me.

Sorry, but your credibility is not very good considering your previous post saying that you voted for her every week. I had no reason to dislike her (just checked her out because I saw her on Celebrity Rehab and was curious what kind of singer she was) and the second I started listening, I was appalled. How did someone with such a bad voice beat out so many other singers? Anyone who actually knows music and pitch can hear how off she is. Since you're not rational, I will stop now.

She's on key I honestly don't know what you're listening to...like I stated earlier I think your problem is the tone of her voice. Many people miscorrectly claim people to be off key when its just the fact that they don't like the tone. My advice to Nikki on this soung would be to round out her tone.but she's on key.

She was the BEST top 4 night and still ended up in the bottum 2. And no Magazine said that either. I think you need to learn the difference between Speculation and evidence. Yes there was a lot of Power Dialing going on but Fox, American Idol, and AT&T never once said which contestant benefited from it. Saying it was Nikki is pure Speculation. In fact it should be noted that on the old Offical forums for AI it was Kelly Clarkson's Fans who first started Power dialing. Prove to me that Nikki Recieved the most power Dialing votes or shut up :D

Although there have been a lot of conspiracy theories about how Nikki beat Tamyra that week, it really is very simple and logical.

Nikki sang "Mary Jane" and "I'm the Only One" which put her in her element and Simon gave her her first rave reviews of the show. Tamyra sang "New Attitude" and it was her first mediocre performance and then she sang "Feel the Fire" well, but it was an oscure R&B song that a lot of the AI fans didn't relate too.

Tamyra got her first bad reviews on the show with those 2 performances. Add to that the fact that AI viewership was growing exponentially week to week and there were a lot of people who were voting for the first time. It's easy to see how a lot of them would vote for Nikki over Tamyra. When I saw them in the bottom 2 I said to myself this is the only week where Nikki could beat Tamyra and it happened.
