i know this is an old video but if the problem still persists, try bigger wheels. should help due to a larger surface area having to spin however might cut down acceleration off the line. only problem is it is hard to fit anything over 13" on a mini without having to cut your fenders :( hope this is an idea, best of luck.
@MonteBusa Hey man, not much luck - actually had to sell the car so I could buy a house. :( I was considering putting an open diff in it. Thinking tyre smoke is better than getting pulled into a wall?
a steering damper might help torque steer but what would be more effective is less wheel to suspension pivot offset or generally a rim with less negative offset. if you are running an lsdiff, probably loosening it would help too.
Ride that silly pony, Adam! Nice job with a beautiful car. Too bad you couldn't stay for Sunday, but it was great to see you and Mini on the hill. See you at Philo, I hope.
Got an B18C6 mini myself with a s80 gearbox with lsd. It can be tricky indeed.
It cornes like mad though.

@dmc12345678910 This actually has the Integras LSD in it, which I have been thinking may be the cause of the problem.

@car47 I know it's way to late to reply as you have probably sold it, but the torque steer is most likely because of uneven drive shaft's.

I don't really care for the looks of the mini but I'm sure it's a joy to drive. low, stiff suspension, lightweight... good power... HAS to be fun!
