  • I picture a rainy night in a big city like Chicago, and a hole in the wall office where some gumshoe is working on a stalled out case.

  • This is nice stuff.

  • so relaxing

  • Very film noiry

  • i listen to death metal that doesn't scare me as much as this

  • @jzmassive death metal isn't scary, this isn't scary either, just don't look at the video and just listen it...

  • Makes me think of a dark, old english street with paving blocks, and lanterns who put out light with a orange hint...

  • If a death-metal band decided to start doing dark, moody, stripped down jazz music; it might sound like this.

  • @pathogensmusick it would apply better to a doom metal band, because of the general slowness

  • Reminds me of Twin Peaks.

  • @jonahfox then you should check out the LP inlay ;)

  • @Sadistica why the inlay? btw i also think about twin peaks when listening to sunset mission

  • @Sadistica I wish I could get my hands on the LP

    Only 20 pressed apparently :(

  • What a pure beauty. This tune is just so fucking dark and sexy. One of the best pieces of music ever created by humans. This just beats the shit out of all the fake shit.

  • It just doesn't get darker than this.

  • Beautiful!

  • wwwrainymoodcom

    and this.

    NOIR MOVIE TIME.

  • @maximao224 That's actually pretty awesome. This was already one of my favorite Gore tracks but that just enhanced it nicely. Now I have to try playing that over other dark tunes. The thunder seemed to strike at all the right moments too. Nice post.

  • Amazing!!!!!!!!

  • So cool, yet so mysterious, at the same time.

Just discovered this band, and i love them already

  • me too

  • I've found another perfect blend of genres to add to my growing list of musical taste.

  • You just say that because lots of people accuse you of being a swallow metalhead that only listens to that shit genre. I know guys like you that purposely say that they listen "jazz" and "opera". That's pretty much bullshit :D.

  • @kthy0056

Metal is a great opener into other genres because it can absorbe any sort of music and create something new while still alowing the listener to feel that metallic taste in their mouths. If it weren`t for metal I would never found about some of the most amazing bands, such as this one.

  • @RavensOfMyFuneral I totally agree with you pal..

  • @RavensOfMyFuneral Allow me to recommend Diablo Swing Orchestra if you haven't already heard of them. My most recent Avant Garde discovery.

Unique mix of opera, metal, jazz, string orchestrations, spanish influence, etc. It's pretty much fucking crazy.

  • this music is incredible. im so glad i found this group

  • *schmelz*

    sooooo geil!!!!

  • So beautiful. I love it.

  • wow....this music is so noir....it's so fucking moody, I love it....I stumbled on this vid....B&CoG have a new fan

  • This is insanely good...

  • Sunset Mission... Black City Skyline stops me in my tracks whatever im doing and I just stand there in a haze of goosebumps!

Black earth is equally amazing. As is Dolores. Im not so keen on Gore Motel though...

  • Black Earth is such a good album, but this stuff is really good as well

  • reminds me of Twin Peaks

  • the video or just the music?

  • probably both since it's ment to be like this

  • Thank you !!!

  • Black Earth

    a great album

  • Black Earth!

  • no, not Black Earth, Sunset Mission, for me the best album of Bohren

  • The music is simply fantastic, just perfect to make love or sex lavishly, slowly and sensually.....yehae just right!

  • One of the greatest bands on earth today.

  • I discovered this group for yourself recently. They have a good sound!

  • delightful in(deepest)deed ...indeed...mmmm...niccce ^_*

  • awesome job sadistica..also your myspace site : ) one of my favorite bohren tracks

  • thank you

  • Driving through the "Ruhrgebiet", hearing this songs - sooo great.

  • nycic: Come yourself to Europe. ;-)

  • I dont think Khanate should meet Bohren, they're too noisy.

  • You know what would've been amazing? Bohren and Khanate together on the same bill. For me, that would've been the very edge of music.

  • damn great... i love that dark harmony in this piece...

  • This music could fit perfectly into a classic film noir...

  • Classy, dim, slightly melancholic, and very cinematic music. I had forgotten just how good this track is.

  • This has a real Twin Peaks feel to it - mellow, yet twisted

  • Great band! I love their music and this dark atmosphere...

  • It is 4:35AM on YTMND. Awesome sexy blues song.... and creepy clip. FAV'D
