I am a student at the University of Missouri St. Louis, I just started as a pipe smoker. I find it to be extremely relaxing, and I do not feel the negative cigarette feelings. Seems sooo much cleaner.

Oh, man... that damn tobacco tax. It's already in effect here, at least for cigarettes. I smoke both cigarettes, and my pipe but cigarettes are up to like... eh... $6 a pack which is fuckin' ridiculous so I'm pretty much switching exclusively to pipe tobacco.

This is so true i am a student from a millitary academy and there is nothing like sneaking off some where and enjoying a pipe to take off some stress and pressure. Im am sad to say all i have now is a corn cob pipe : ) but am in the market for a new one hopfully a Brair wood one, do you have any suggestions.

Hello there :) I was in the Buenos Aires pipe Club of Argentina, and there are many people very nice, pipe smokers...it was fun and I made a video of the meeting. Also I tried Latakia and loved the stron flavor! Guess Im a man after all XD

Hello mate,

that's an interesting news. But I don't think the the number of pipe smokers will increase in Germany, no matter how much the taxes for cigarettes will increase. The ban against smokers is one reason that keeps people away from pipe smoking. When being in a restaurant you're always able to go outdoors for a cigarette smoke. But you can never go outside for a short pipe smoke. That's the reason why (for example) my brother likes pipes but prefers cigarettes.
