idk im not exactly sure but i only see money being thrown at samoans when the women are dance.

  • I find it special with the taualugas, don't know why.

  • I understand how the money is showered from everywhere. I would hastily spot a twenty dollar bill as well, just so she wouldn't start taking her clothes off.

  • Maybe in YOUR culture but we have none of that in OURS...stupid!!

  • feololo... pe ma'i si taupou!.. lol....

  • What's the name of the song?

  • I love this song; we listen to it in the car all the time =) This is a gorgeous, gracefully-danced Taualuga.. beautiful job!

  • hey is this vale?!!!

  • To add on to ciakopo's comment, In Hawaiian Kaua means war, and luna means above or "higher place". So Kaua+luna= Kaualuna or Taualuga =]...Cultural similarities.

  • very interesting comment about war in a higher place...ive never heard that before..taualuga refers to the highest point in the roof of a samoan fale...therefore in context of performance celebration...taualuga becomes the highest most important point in any samoan festivities...also connoting the end or completion of celebration..as a samoan fale is only complete wen the roof is completed
