I had this game for the NES, and this game most definitely had a soundtrack. Here, I'll explain a bit.

You only get the humming sound if you play it on most emulators, like FCEUX. If you play this game on Nestopia, regarded as the most accurate emulator out there, you'll get the proper music instead of that dreaded droning sound.

Say what you want about the gameplay, but the sound wasn't THAT bad. :/

I got a nes in 1990 used with a bunch of games from my uncle. I beat every game he gave me (about 15)and eversubsequent game i purchased(another 15 or so) except this and "Destination EarthStar". Thank you for showing me how shitty the ending is and removing from me all incentive to ever pull the cart out again. You sir are a gentleman and a scholar.
