  • helpful article

  • i bought this home theater BDVE380 that support blu ray dvd 3D with sony bravia KDL40EX520,just normal LED screen.. can i watch in 3D on my normal LED ??? help me.

  • @ayamkill no, your TV needs to also have 3D capabilities to be able to display 3D

  • it wont work on my tv!!

  • what about internet sharing ? that is not done with this type of cable ? its only sharing the media on your pc ? For internet HDMI is enough to just transfer picture to the bravia and i navigate the internet and the web using my pc ?

  • what if you have a PS3 then you can just stream of that can't you?

  • I'd recommend trying Mezzmo, as it works better with more devices than WMP.

  • can u connect directly from the computer to the sony tv?

  • DLNA is SLOW and USELESS

  • @LTF85199 The speed will depend on how your network is setup. A wired network will always be faster and more reliable than a wireless one.

  • serious, wmp12 comes with window 7 get updated! this is no help

  • how do u do the setup exactly in wmp12.. doesnt work for me even after i change the settings in media centre

  • For media player 12, you need to share it from media center instead of media player. It works for me. But you can't compare the video quality between HDMI to RJ45.

  • Didn't work!

    2. Setting up Media Sharing. No such thing as Media Sharing under the Library tab on Windows Media Player 12.0.7600.16667.

  • I have windows media player 12 and when i click on the library tab it doesn't show the same thing

  • I have 2 pc at home but isee just one of them on tv helpppppppppppppp!

  • How can I do this with my Macbook, running iTunes 10?

  • @sashaeatsfood You can't. Apple doesn't allow DLNA content with iTunes, you must be using Windows Media Player in Windows. Apple has never been an open source for media sharing. I have a Mac, but I also have windows vista on bootcamp so windows runs natively on my Mac.

  • my SONY BDPS-470 says no content when i try to access my SONY VGF-HS1 mredia server via the router, this is for music pics and video. i hope you dont need to have a pc switched on aswell just to access it all.

my homer server shows up in the cross media bar on the blu ray player. some pics and music show up but no video.

any help please would be great.

  • Great help!
